  1. Same here, I got two of them from the local Walmart. Will there be a shortage?
  2. By far LCD is the champ when ir comes to gaming. Plasma's are prone to burn in and that is a major issue when gaming when the screen can be stagnet at times. To answer the question above, yes Phillips as a whole are inferior products and have been almost completely phased out because of quality issues and bad customer service. When it comes to buying a TV spend a little more and buy a brand name (Sony, Samsung, Sharp, and Panasonic (plasma) . There are a few lower brands though that offer a good product such as Olevia and Vizio. Keep in mind though, the picture quality will be subpar, but not bad. I will always go LCD over Plasma. Plasma is a dying technology that is very limited by its drawbacks as outlined above. Also, steer clear of warranties, by far they are a rip off and the chances you'll actually use it in four years has dropped to 1 in 100, per consumer reports.
  3. I have heard good things about Olevia as far as quality. The picture is not as good as he major brands and standard definition is more grainy than average. Overall, if you are on a budget it is a smart buy. I would stand by though, and wait for Christmas as I hear there will be another 10-20 percent drop in LCD prices. Just as a note; Plasma is great for a theater room that is dark and not used everyday, while LCD is more of a everyday use product. cons to Plasma: Burn in, Glare, Power Consuption almost double compared to LCD. Boards burn out when they overheat (mostly cheaper brands). cons LCD: Overly bright for some, Blacks can be muddy, Contrast (light to dark) may seem artificial.
  4. Do not buy, these TV's are horrible! The boards short out after a year or so and cost 900.00 + labor to replace. I deal with liquidators and they hate these things because the boards have no safeguards and shorts move through the whole board instead of being isolated. Steer clear!!!!
  5. Hd Dvd Players Are Still Very Good Dvd Players For Standard Defintion Upscaling, So The Bluray Comment Is Uncalled For. Furthermore, A Good Upscaling Dvd Player Will Cost The Same With No Free Movies.
  6. Awesome deal, got my shoes yesterday 26 dollars shipped. I hope they do this again.
  7. If You Can Find This At Your Local Homedepot, They Are On Clearance For 3.49 Each. I Got Two About A Month Ago. Homedepot Is A Good Store For The Bargain Hunter, As They Routinely Mark Down Prices 60-90 Percent.
  8. Now what your doing is wrong ethically, but if people are stupid enough give you money, then that's their fault.
  9. Great Coupon, there are lots of things on sale that can be picked up in store.
  10. I believe that you have the right to do what you want with the products you buy. Isn't that the basics of capitalism? You buy an item and the value of that item is set by demand, thus long lines on BF for undervalued items. If you decide to sell the said item. The price is set by what the person (consumer) on the other end is willing to pay. Do I believe that one person should be able to screw everyone else in line by buying everything up. NO! I do believe that a person must reasonable when deciding to resell items.
  11. Best Buy started their BF deals online Thankgiving day, believe it or not. Everthing was pretty much sold out by noon. I hope we get a repeat this year...
  12. THE ONE NEAR MY HOUSE HAS TONS OF THEM UP TO 50% OFF. I'M IN CALIFORNIA, BUT I'M SURE IT'S THE SAME ALL OVER. CHECK THE GARDEN DEPARTMENT OUTSIDE OR ASK AN EMPLOYEE.
  13. SORRY, I WAS TRYING TO JUST PULL IT FROM MY PHONE AND THERE'S NO ID ON THE NUMBERS. TRY THIS ONE 1-800-279-1736. I'M PRETTY SURE THEYR'E OPEN 8-8 EST.
  14. Currently HomeDepot is Clearancing all of there patio furniture. For example I got a Chaise Lounge for 34.99, originally 149.00. They first took off 50% (74.99), then 50% (34.99) off of that. If the boxes show damage you can talk them down more. I got four swivel rocker chairs for 65.00, origninally 399.99 only because the screws were missing and the box had been rained on. I called the manufacturer and the screws are on there way free of charge. It does definetely pay to visit a few HomeDepot's to get the best selection. Alot of the items are also not priced correctly so be sure to have someone look up current prices as they can be up to half the clearance price.
