Definitely agree, you shouldn't take little kids out on BF. The cold, the long hours, and the craziness of crowds. All that plus little kids do not mix together. I would be to afraid of something happen as it easily could during all that madness. But sometimes you do what you have to do, no babysitter and all that so if you have to bring your kids please keep them in a cart lol

Like the poster above I don't need a shopping buddy but would like to know if other people will be at stores I will be at, the only other person on GD I know lives in Louisville is wx4svr and I think he shops in a different area then me lol

My recipe is for Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball My mom had this at a party once and loved so she had to get the recipe and make it for us to try and believe me it is DELICIOUS!!! As soon as you make it you start eating it and it is hard to stop. Everyone that I have got to try it has loved it also, so I hope you try and love it too! lol Note: We don't roll it in pecans at the end, it's just too yummy the way it is but to each their own lol INGREDIENTS 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup butter, softened 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans DIRECTIONS In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in confectioners sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Shape chilled cream cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap with plastic, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll the cheese ball in finely chopped pecans before serving. I definitely gotta say people who bring their kids, this one really annoys me. But also I hate when people get mad at me if I grab the last one of a certain item, I mean yes it sucks and I would be upset if I missed out on something I wanted but it's not the other persons fault. it just happens lol The last time this happen to me the lady got mad when I grabbed the last 2 joe boxer pillows that were 2 for $5 at Kmart, seriously?! joe boxers pillows lol No one has ever tried to take anything from my cart if they did there would be some serious words said and maybe a smackdown If someone tried to get into my purse it would be on like DONKEY KONG!!!! And I would probably end up in handcuffs lol

I get things I need and Xmas presents We always go to the Meijer Thanksgiving Day to stock up on the .99 Miracle Whip and .89 Suave Products And Kmart Thanksgiving Day Sale usually has .99 or .89 Pepsi 2 Liters

The first time I remember going BF shopping was in 1994 when I was 9 lol Went with my mom and dad to Walmart to get a TV they had on sale, it was for me and my sister.

Kmart isn't having a Black Friday sale they are having a Blue Friday sale lol Walmart started a name change trend Gotta love those blue light specials lol Also through the grapevine I found out the store near me has ordered 65% more apparel then they did last year.

I don't know how much longer I can wait for ad pretty soon I am going to have to take a Kmart manager hostage until I get an ad lol

Get up around 3, get ready, eat and head to Meijer and Kmart for their thanksgiving day sales which gets me even more amped up for BF lol Then come back home, help mom with some cooking and look through the paper and go over our list to make sure everything is just right lol I an organization nut and love making list so I will do this about 20 times between now and BF lol Then we spend the day eating and being with the family and watching A Christmas Story. Go to bed as early as possible which is never as early as I want because I am too excited to sleep lol

The Kmart we usually go to never has sales like that, we just happened to stop at a different one because we were in the area and I am glad we did lol

Went with my mom to Kmart tonight so she could return some things and ended up looking around and in every area they had multiple racks of clothes(mostly summer) for $1.99 They had everything - womens, mens, plus size, kids, babies, even women's shoes for $3.49 Needless to say I was going through every section like a mad women lol I didn't have too much extra money but my mom bought all this: 2 pairs of shorts - blue jean and a greyish tweed like pair A pair of khaki capri's A super cute summer dress and a cute top Regular priced they all would have totaled $105 and she got it for $10!! I picked up 2 mickey mouse shirts for my nephew to wear right now before it gets too cold and a plaid button up shirt for my BIL for christmas, both were $1.99 too. I plan on going to another kmart that is a little futher out sometime this week to see if they have the same kind of deals.

Definitely Kmart for Thanksgiving and BF, that's my #1 store The meijer's turkey day ad is a must have. Walgreens, Target, and unfortunately this year we might have to go to Toys R Us if they have something we really want for my nephew.

Sorry I wasn't meaning to sound like a scrooge, I just have really bad phobias when it comes to winter weather so to save me stress and panic attacks I say no to snow lol

NO!!!! I hate snow lol I don't want to see a single snow flake to touch this city unless it's on Christmas Eve and it's all gone by Christmas night lol

I can't say I have a favorite BF, I love them all, it's just 2 days of me and mom spending time together and shoppinh and cooking. It is my favorite day of the year, I got super excited for it way too early and spend all my time on this website. And even if we don't get that good of deals or miss out on something we were really wanting it doesn't bother us too much we just love the spirit of it all lol

Every year I beg my friend who works at Kmart for any kind of info and every year she tells me she doesn't know anything

Yeah I really don't care when the WM ad comes out, I haven't went there in years and most likely won't be going this year. Kmart is my store of choice along with Meijers and Target.
