I have bought numerous phones on ebay and as long as the seller has a high rating, the esn or whatever it is called is clear, and you pay with paypay, it is not much of a risk.

I found great deals at our Target tonight. Tons of deoderant from .47 to 1.80, I grabbed enough to last me about a year and DH about six months. Some toys were at 75% I noticed. Lots of pet stuff on clearance as well. Does anyone know if there is a schedule for clearance in massive amounts? Say like the deoderant right now or the 75% off toys? I am not talking about the holiday clearance or the weekly clearance but the great large sweeping clearance they seem to make once in a while in different departments.

I don't know how far the move is, but I know when my mom moved cross country a couple of years ago, she found it was significantly cheaper to rent space from a semi truck shipping company. They come and drop off the trailer, you fill it, they haul it and then drop off the trailer and you have a couple of days to empty it. You pay for what space you use and then you don;t have to drive that truck!

We are looking to take a road trip next week and have 3 year old twins. We want to get a travel DVD system, and want to get the best deal. Any input? Suggestions? Is it better to get the twin monitors that go over the headrests? And of course, does anyone know were to get the best deals right now on them?

Never tried Acer, but they are cheap. Love my HP, did not like my Dell. Will definitely buy an HP again.

According to posts a couple of months ago here on GD, a lot of Home Depots do sell the 1 cent merchandise.

Ironically, both my mother and I broke our verizon phones within a week of each other a couple of months ago. we are on a family plan together and are not eligible until August for an upgrade. I went ahead and went the ebay route. I bought a used Razr and I bought my mom a brand new cheaper phone, as she does nothing but use it on a limited basis for phone calls. I made sure both were verizon phones and both were from sellers with high numbers with positive feedback. I was pleased with both purchases.

I see them a lot at Marshalls and they usually have great deals on shoes.

I think there is something on the amazon site. I found that as well last night, can't remember where. But if you look under a catagory, and search, say, clocks, then on the left hand side if you pick a specific category, like patio or whatever and then it updates, look to the left again and scroll down and it will show 70% off, 50-70%, etc. That is how I search. It also allows you to narrow down your search to items available for two day ship by amazon (prime).

I love Amazon Prime. I started with the trial in November and bought it in December in time for the massive amounts of Christmas toys I found on Amazon, thanks to Gotta Deal. But you know what? It is probably a great marketing deal. I shop FIRST at Amazon because of my shpping deals on Prime, and that way they get way more business from me than they would if I had to pay for shipping. I have been pleased and have gotten my money's worth.

I think I read on here once that JCP and Kohls sends these to non card holders hoping they will come in and shop there and GET cards. I will purposefully not get the cards to keep getting these coupons! :banana01:

Does anyone know where to look for these deals in Home Depot? Is there a certain place they keep these old items or scratch and dent or do you just have to get lucky?

I must say I have been happy with them and they have a referral system where you get a free cd for any of your friends that sign up.

I am looking for a good deal on some new PC speakers or media center. Of course, I saw a great set of Bose ones at Sam's Club for $249, but I am not willing to spend that kind of money. Does anyone know where to find a good brand either offline or online?
