  1. Last year my Best Buy already had people on Weds night. We go early on T-Day 6am-8am at the latest we are always in the first 5 of the line somewhere but this year I just don't know because of the people in line on Weds. it may start a trend but I will not go before Thurs am...so I will see what happens...this T-day so happens to be my b-day so cake at BB this year...lol

Now THAT'S what I call celebrating!

Happy Bday!!! (on Tgiving, that is)

  2. Last year, we spent a lot. Cuz we got a Samsung LCD TV.

But normally, I think we blow about $500 on that day. I try

and just buy for everyone, but it depends on the deals too.

haha, and i would've thought that $500 was alot! haha!

  3. Yeah, I'm kinda thinking that it just varies for me. Last year we didn't spend much at all, because we didn't get any 'big ticket' items. Probably spent under $50.

This year, on the other hand, we need a new computer AND a new digital camera, so I expect we'll easily spend a few hundred $$$. Hopefully there'll be some SWEET deals on those items... (fingers crossed).

    Can't wait!!!

  4. I noticed this question brought up in another BF thread and it got me thinking. Now I'm curious on how much y'all typically spend on BF. Do you have a predetermined set amount each year or do you just decide as you shop? Does it depend on the ads? Does it vary from year to year or is it usually fairly consistent???

    Let's hear it!

(I'm still thinking about my answers...)

  5. My lovely wife has come with me the past couple years to wait in line. My brother was in town last year visiting and was all pumped about coming out... until it was time the night before to go and he decided that he "didn't feel like it" so we went without him and he met us up on Friday.
  6. haha, good stories Cannon1! I Never get tired of hearing stories about people trying to cheat their way in front of the line and coming away empty handed!

One of the small items we got last year were the Harry Potter Movies 1-4 for $5 each from Target. Just a small bargain, but a bargain none the less!! I was able to turn around and sell the 4th one on ebay for somewhere around $15. (That one was only the single disc version, and I wanted the 2-disc version.)

  7. haha, that's funny.

NO, you're definitely not the only one. Basically, my whole family is with you on that one. I've almost convinced my brother to come out with me before and my wife has come once or twice, but other than them, I'm outta luck when it comes to family recruits.

i just love the excitement of it all!!
