YES!!! Moved to DFW, TX a year ago and I miss the snow already! FORTUNATELY, we'll be back in Detroit for Christmas!!! :)

I forgot to add, that before we meet our friends for bowling, we usually go out with my wife's family and hit up an early evening movie. It's kind of a tradition with her fam.

i tend to wrap with special paper, but my wife likes to just throw the gifts in gift bags. i do have to admit though, it is quicker to just bag it!

The people in front of us had a little propane heater thing to keep everyone warm. Even the cops were gathered around

we arrived at that bestbuy around 9pm that night and there were already a few folks in line.
HAHA! and THERE is the difference between freezing cold northern states and slightly warm southern states. By 9pm around here there are probably a good 100+ people in line already. haha!!

yeah, definitely. hopefully that's the case. not hopefully that there are more foreclosures, but hopefully the deals will be better than previous years. gotta have Some good come out of it!!!

We open presents with the in-laws on Christmas eve and with my family on Christmas day... the best of BOTH worlds!!! haha

At this point I'm gonna have to say that I like all Christmas songs... I can't think of a specific one that I hate, ya know?
I'm sure that viewpoint will change once Tgiving hits though...

I wish I could go at 11:30 pm. Our line started at 2 pm on Wed last year. By 10 pm (When I got there) the line had already made the turn at the side of the store and was about 1/3 of the way down the side wall.
I was the last person to get a laptop ticket. I dare say to get one this year I will need to be there like 8.
What state are you in, hwunch? I'm guessing a cold northern state???

Well our usual routine has changed since we moved down to Texas (from Michigan) about a year ago. Now, meaning last year and this, my brother and his girlfriend fly down from MI and the four of us have Tgiving dinner together. This year, we're going to head out to wait in line for store #1 shortly after dinner. Can't wait!

So my wife and I always do an ornament exchange each year... anyone else have a similar tradition??? It's always a fun thing. I usually get one for our puppy too.
