  1. Before I was married my family would go out on our annual Christmas Eve FEAST! The past 4 or 5 years we've been going to Benihana's Japanese Steakhouse... mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! Nowadays, we head over to my wife's family's house and do the Christmas thing there, so we have Christmas day to hang out with my extended family. Boy I miss Benihana's....
  2. Yeah, I was referring to the actual Night of Christmas (12/25) itself. After you're finished with all your Christmas activities.
  3. I'm sure alot of you just sit around and relax or play with your new gadgets on Christmas night, but what do you others do? Me and two of my friends started Christmas night bowling about 8yrs ago and it's become a huge tradition with us all. Nowadays, each year about 15 people show up on the night of the 25th at the same bowling alley. It's pretty fun, get to talk about everyone's day and what they got. Can't wait till this year!!!
  4. Usually my wife's side of the family opens presents on Christmas Eve, then my side of the family opens them on Christmas day. Sometimes both on Christmas Eve.
  5. haha, probably TOO long!!! we usually get around to taking most of them down by end of January, then the stragglers don't come down till March-ish...
  6. The past few years, I've found myself at Best buy first, then after that, we typically just head where the ads lead us. Almost always hit up Target & Wal-Mart too.

  8. hmmm... i can't remember ever getting presents from santa. My parents never taught me to believe in santa, just that he was a fun story around Christmas time.
  9. yeah. Most best buy s you drive by early Tgiving morning only have a handful of people out waiting already. That was the case last year, at least. Only the 'crazies' line up on Wednesday night... haha. The masses of people really start lining up late morning on Tgiving day.

  15. It varies for me, depending on the weather situation. Always pack on more clothes than necessary, that way there's no way to get too cold. Always be prepared! Other than that, just the sale ads of the stores I want to go to, so I can remember everything I want.

  17. My favorite Christmas song is "Carol of the Bells". I LOVE that song!!!!
  18. You can't match the SMELL of a real tree. Last year we had a fake one, but we'll probably go with the traditional REAL tree this year!!! You just can't beat it!
  19. We usually start putting up decorations sometime between Tgiving and Christmas. It's typically closer to Tgiving, the weekend afterwards or next.
