Haven't put mine up yet, hopefully this weekend but not turn them on until after Thanksgiving. I did see a house a mile or two away with lights already on their house and lit up. Beautiful.

My son wants these too so thanks for the heads up. He is 8 and won't put them in his mouth but we do have 2 inside cats. I don't know if Santa is going to get these or not.

I just ordered 2 sets (got 4 in all as they are buy 1 get 1 free) and a lipgloss for me. I have teacher gifts, etc. out of the way. Thanks -- Nice find.

Last year, I went to Midnight Madness at Tanger Outlets in Locust Grove, Georgia. Got there about 10ish and found a parking place with no problem. Most everyone was sitting in cars waiting and around 11 is when things began to get crazy. Everyone began getting out of their cars to line up in front of their chosen store - I was about 5th in line for Aeropostale (They have 50 percent off everything). At midnight, the line just to Aeropostale was insanely long and they were only letting about 25 to 30 in at a time because of fire safety concerns. Parking was also an issue - when I left about 12:45 (I got in an out) people were indeed parking on the side of the interstate, etc. Go early and expect it to be crazy but it was alot of fun. I had plenty of time to get to my first stop, Toys R Us.

I cook at my house for husband, two kiddos, mother in law, father in law, my mom and dad. My sister in law usually comes over as well. We eat early, around 3 - 5ish so everyone can get finished and get a game plan for my favorite shopping day of the year.

Be organized - have list ready for each store. If you price match at Walmart, have things already circled in other ads and accesible. Find a Walmart that is open 24 hours and get there real early to find the stuff you need to price match. Then, investigate to find out where your most wanted item is going to be and hang out there. Make friends, help each other out and have fun.

I need a Zune too. My dh wants one because he is jealous that both kids have one. So, now I have to find his at a good price. Last year, I got the one that was at toys r us for 79.99 priced matched at Walmart. Hope I find another good sale like that one.

As an educator, I have the week of Thanksgiving off for Thanksgiving break and then two weeks off at Christmas/New Years for Winter Break -- So, that means I don't have to worry about being off for myself - However, DH is another story. He always has to take that day off and use a vacation day. He has a vacation watching the kids --

I normally shop for my dh, and both sons. I try to get a majority of their gifts finished on that day. I do pick me up some surprises along the way for hubby to wrap and put under the tree. However, most of the shopping is for them.

I don't have knock knock jokes but I do know a few cute ones: Why did the coach go to the bank? To get his quarter back Why did the golfer buy a new putter? Because he got a hole in one What did the basketball player bring his suitcase to the game? Because he travelled a lot What did one tonsil say to the other tonsil? Get dressed up the doctor is taking us out I know these are corny but my kids love them.

Last year, I was at Tanger Outlet around 10:00 on Thanksgiving night for the Midnight Madness sale to start at Aeropostale. Then, in line at Toys R Us around 1:30. Also went to Target, Walmart, Best Buy and a few other places. Did not get home until around noonish the next day - Black Friday.

I usually go by myself or with a friend. Of course, my parents go so we can get stuff for each other but we go to seperate places and talk on the cell phone regarding deals, etc.

I always try to go to Kmart to start off my black friday shopping. I am in line when the door opens and then back home before lunch to start cooking so I can get cleaned up and back out again that night. I do get a few things at K-mart every year.

no, walmart should not be doing a price match on an office depot brand. i price match at walmart most of the time and it always has to be for the exact same item. seems to me the lady either got lucky or had a new cashier who was not aware of what she was doing

I got the Teachers Rewards Card so I was able to get 25 of each item - 25 packs of pencils, 25purell, and about 10 folders for my children. Can't wait until the other penny sales.

No Santa gifts wrapped here. Only presents wrapped are the ones from "mom and dad" - Santa presents are set out ready to go in a pile for each son. I do like the idea of wrapping stocking stuffers - think i will be doing that this year to add a bit more excitement.
