I just don't find very good deals at our Walmart. I have to kind of laugh at their clearance compared to Target's. No comparision.

I haven't been to Target in awhile. I was spending more than I was saving. I found myself buying things just because they were such a good deal even if we didn't need it.

We have 8 rebates we sent in so far we have gotten 4. Best Buy Dlink Router Kit - 35.00 Samsung DVD Recorder - 80.00 Staples Shredder - 20.00 (FAR) Samsung 19" Monitor - 57.00

Our Target still has their Christmas at 50%, but there are tons of toys 75% off. I was ready to start on Christmas for next year.

We take ours down January 6th, Epiphany.

I have all the presents wrapped that are from mom and dad. The ones from Santa we won't wrap until Christmas Eve after the kids are in bed.

We keep some of ours in the suitcase under our bed. Some in my scrapbook closet, which nobody is to be in, on the top shelves in our closet, behind this huge chair in our bedroom and outdoor toys in the shed. Once DS quits believing in Santa it will be so much easier. I will wrap the presents as soon as I get them and put them under the tree. It's kinda of hard keeping them hid until Christmas Eve.

I used this one year. DD and I took some Christmas stamps and paint and stamped the whole roll. After it dried we rolled it up and then used it on all of the Christmas gifts. It looked really good under the tree and made it even more special since we did it together. :)

Always, they are part of our family too. The cat gets at least 3 presents and now DS found the cat stocking that I had quit putting up. So now I have to fill that this year too.

That's exactly how it was at our inlaws. Nobody ever knew who got what from whom. Some Christmas's were spent going thru the trash looking for gift certificates that had gotten thrown away with the wrapping paper. Now on Christmas we do the left/right story that someone reads. We pass the presents either left or right whenever the word left or right is read in the story. It's not as hectic and lots of fun.

We do our stockings first, all at once. Then DS helps the cat open his presents. Yes the cat. Then DS goes since he is the youngest, then DD after him. DH goes after DD and I open mine last.

That is too funny.

My DD loves the glycerin soaps, wish they were on sale before Christmas. They would make good stocking stuffers.

I haven't even started really. I just can't get in the mood. Just found out two things DD wants and I do have, she doesn't want anymore. She has a total of four gifts and they are all going back.

I still think this is totally awesome. I can't believe it only adds about 150.00 to his Dec. electric bill. Wonder how much it cost to do the whole set up?

We put out shoes. I got up at 5 this morning and apparently DS had gotten up in the middle of the night and got his shoe. When I looked in his room this morning he had all of his goodies lined up in a neat little row. Makes me wonder now what time he is going to wake up on Christmas morning

I went to TRU Sunday and the guy there said they were lined up outside for the Doodle Monster. He told me they were gone within minutes. Then a sales girl told me they were selling for 60.00 on ebay. Think I will keep the one I happened to luck into from Target. I didn't realize this was going to be such a HOT item. Thanks again to everyone here for the info on them and to teresa92 who told me what a Doodle Monster actually was.

I usually get DD some clothes for Christmas, but not this year. I am getting her a GC to the mall so she can hit the sales after Christmas. I hoping she will realize she can get more for her money by waiting until after Christmas.

I don't look to see what I spend until I have gotten what everyone wants.

Don't know if I would consider these HOT toys, but I had a heck of a time finding the moon shoes and Doodle Monster. Nobody seemed to have the moon shoes when I went to get any, which was after BF. Then I just lucked into the Doodle Monster today, thanks to people on this board.

I went out again today. First time since BF. I still have all the stocking stuffers to buy, 2 things for DD, 3 things for DH, about 5 or so for DS, and the cat. That's not fair, I have to shop for four and the rest of the family only has to shop for me.

Yeah since we have TiVo we just skip right thru those commercials. Actually that's probably a good thing otherwise DS's Christmas list would be a lot longer.

Ok thanks to everyone who told me about the Doodle Monster. I went to 2 Walmarts, Kmart, TRU, & Walgreens, no luck. They were all out. Target was the only one who had any. Two to be exact. I snagged one really quick. It was 14.99. I am hoping to get a raincheck from Kmart for 11.99, but just incase I think I will hold on to this one I got.
