Apparently it is national, the reporter said it would air on Wednesday, but I will get more details tomorrow.

I guess I'm just really nervous. I talked to the guy today, they are coming at 7:00 tomorrow morning. They want me to do a dry run of my shop as well as show them where I go online and my shopping lists etc... Now, I am cleaning my house like a mad woman and hoping it stops raining so my kids won't track any more mud in than necessary. I will keep you all posted, wish me luck!

I wonder how many people actually wrote in. I find it strange that I was the only one contacted. I checked out the guy who is doing the story, his name is Charles Herman, and he does the buisness reports. They actually want to come to my house and take some video for a story that will air on Wednesday. What do you all think, would you do it?

I heard that there was a package of DDR at Sams Club, but I'm not a member and it may be over and done with. Walmart has controller, pad, and game for $59.00. Is this the best deal on this? I may try and see if the 20% off coupons come out again for TRU this year, however, they may state that they are not good on video games. Thanks.

FYI~ our gameboy conked out about 10 months after we got it. I called Nintendo to find out where we could have it looked at. They asked me for the bar code on the back and determined that it was only 10 months old and still under warranty. They gave me a shipping number and for free, I sent it back. They called me and told me they couldn't fix it and sent me a brand new one. I guess if it's a manufactured defect, they will cover it.

I did get a Christmas catalogue in the mail with a $10 off $50 purchase, begins Black Friday!It had all the new Christmas outfits, the new dog, and the penguin. Cute!

I did this once last year at Target. My son only asked for one thing, the Millenium Falcon Lego set. It was reg. $99 at Target, I saw the BF add early that it was going to be $49. I went the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and bought it reg. price. Then on Saturday after Thanksgiving, I strolled into Target, and it took me all of 3 minutes to get the $50 credited to my cc. BUT>>> Target is one of the places that does NOT have doorbusters, their sale is a two-day sale. So as long as you return before next sale starts, you are safe. I would go for one of those type of sales before I waste time on BF morning trying to price match. Time is precious that day!

I think the Limited Too deal is the best one. We just got ours from EB Games, traded in our old SP and got the new Ds Lite in black for $130.00. Personally, it seems like each year I am looking for one of these Game Boy bundles. In the past, the best deals and bundles are now. Last year I got the Ds bundles with Nintendogs for $149, and Mario Kart for the same. You can always return it. Last year they came out with a free starter kit and spiderman game with any Ds purchase at TRU. I just took my receipt up there and got it all. The DS, mariokart, free skin, starter kit, and spiderman game. They were also short on supplies closer to Christmas, if I hadn't bought mine early, I wouldn't have gotten the advertised one. So keep your eyes open and save your receipt.

I remember one year it was these Kareoke machines at TRU, they only had 5! I wrestled this lady for one and won!

It had to be Black Friday Eve.(Thanksgiving night), when I realized I could buy the Roboraptor from Linens and Things online, and use the 20% off coupon! I got that sucker for $32.00, SHIPPED!!!! It was on sale for $39.00, regular priced $99.00! I was elated!

Me or my sis usually trade off and one of us goes to Kmart. It's usually for the Gameboy games. Except two years ago she got her purse stolen (dummy) and now she refuses to step foot in there agian. What a fiasco! Guess I'm going again this year!

The year before last Toys R Us had a little table set up with free Starbucks Coffee and Christmas cookies. Boy, those were the days!

I got mine at Kmart on Thanksgiving. The games were B1G1 Free. My sister got Whac-a-Mole, $19.99, I got Bulls Eye. We split the cost, final total=$10! Super deal for us, yipee! Glad to hear it's a fun game.

Also....look for the Barbie Shopping Carts with scanner. My sister and I were scoping these a few weeks ago. Some stores around the country they are scanning as low as $2.48. My local TRU has them for reg price, $49.99. MY sister's store in Charlotesville, Va had them for $8.48. Can't hurt to scan, they go great with the Barbie Cash register from Target BF. Also....don't forget the printable Barbie coupon $10 0ff $50, plus you can get a $10 gift card if you spend $50 in Barbie stuff.

My children's Sunday School classes sponser a local homeless shelter and every year they each have to buy a gift for a man or woman. This year we have 2 females, one male. Usually, I go to Old Navy and buy a fleece, gloves, and scarf. I would like to get creative this year, but am coming up blank. I feel like it should be an appropriate gift that the person could actuallly use, but on the other hand, I feel like someone would like a more fun gift instead. Maybe throw in some gift certificates to Mc D's or something else. Is this appropriate? Do you have any ideas? Thanks!
