  1. Haven't seen the Penn and Teller one, but I made a choice not to shop Walmart before I even saw the The High Price of Low Cost. If' I've bought $500 worth this past year, that a lot. I used to shop them regularly. Now I do my best to stay out of their stores.
  2. That just never works for me. I've cleared cookies and deleted all temp. files. I think somehow the IP address is captured so doing the above does nothing.

    Best Buy Price Match

That's surprising because BM stores usually don't match online prices. They'll give the excuse that prices are regional for the most part and then of course there are costs in operating an actual store, etc, etc. Glad they honored it for you.
  4. Thanks! If I hadn't seen the post here, I never would have known about it. I probably won't use it myself, but was able to share.
  5. I must say I'm happy about my purchase. Didn't look for the Olypus FE-280 yesterday that was on ad at Ritz/Wolf since it was a four day sale. Went in today and they were out. The salesperson called at least two other stores and they were out as well. She offered to "special order" which would take 3 working days to receive. So we were going to do that, but after about 20 minutes we were told they were completely out of stock, and it probabaly wouldn't be shipped until almost Christmas. Didn't go for that. We checked BB and they were unadvertised at the same price. Again, though, were completely out. Did some checking online after getting home and it was priced the same at Radio Shack. It said they were available at the one near me. So called to make sure they had some and at the online price. They had one and it was same price. They held it for me and I was there within 10 minutes. I hadn't noticed it was in fact on ad, but was priced $20 more in the ad. They must have lowered the price to compete with everyone else, but I was also able to use a $10 coupon as well. The person that I spoke to over the phone was very helpful and I was so glad they were willing to hold it for me. Great CS!
  6. Is that Transformers item in the toy department? Is it more of a toy or more of a flashlight? I'm not sure I've seen anything like that.
  7. Good to know! I hid an iron that was clearanced at 30% and when I went back, it was still there and at 50%, so I decided to take a chance and see if it would go to 75%. When I first checked online it was showing limited availability and then another day later it was OOS. I guess I'll have to make sure it's really gone.
  8. I finally got one - I didn't get one the last two times everyone else did.
  9. Aussie hair products with bonus travel size product was clearanced to $1.74. Only folders, index cards and book cover left in school supplies. Glad I picked up some stuff yesterday.
  10. So is a sale item considered a markdown? When I read the coupon I first thought of clearanced items. It doesn't say sale items are excluded. I would've been upset, too.
  11. School supplies only 30% at my Target. Hope they go down this week
  12. Okay, where's the logic? If it was a scanned coupon either way, how does it being in color make it any more legit? I would hope that people stop using these coupons as it's making it harder to use valid coupons for everyone.
  13. No more of the bulk deals. I'm glad I bought some stuff when I did. I also noticed the Downy softener clearanced at $4.02 for the Tahitian waterfall and the cashmere scents. Hope they don't just do away with them. I love the Tahitian waterfall one.
  14. Truse, but the quarterly extra bucks were probably the beginning of the entire program. I'll take whatever they want to give me. The "triple" extra bucks don't seem to give me a whole lot more back, because I tend not to actually "pay" for a lot of stuff. With all the coupons and ECBs I already use, the actual amount I spend out of pocket is little. I do appreciate a $6 ECB more than a $2 one.
  15. Hope this works... Earn Triple Extra Buckshttp://a676.g.akamaitech.net/f/676/773/60m/images.delivery.net/cm50content/1601/090081018081a6cf/hosted.html
  16. I didn't even get one his time around. The last one I got was for Father's Day.
  17. Yeah, I think it just depends on what their mood might be. I've complained about an experience I had with manufacturer coupons and got nothing. I also called and complained about an experience my mother had, nothing again. The time with my mother, I called back and spoke to the store manager because of a comment that I later found out the front end lead made that really could be grounds for a descrimination lawsuit and the store manager sent a letter of apology and a $25 GC.
  18. It was the old design with the green goblin on it. You're right I should've asked for a manager. They didn't do a price look up on the computer or with those scan guns. All they did was look at the price tag that was on the shelf.
  19. I found three Spiderman ready beds today and they were scanning Item Not Found. I was abe to get my son one and was trying to get one for my nephew. Thought I'd get lucky at the register but no. They gave the cashier the regular price. No thanks!! I left it.
  20. Can you use the bonus cards anytime or do they expire within a certain amount of time?
  21. I saw no more Color Wonder stuff today. As they say, you snooze, you lose. I'm glad I bought one of them when I did. I did find two MM apple juice and one grape juice packs. I did forget to look for the Soleil razor. Most of the stores (CVS, Walgreens) around here have been out, so I need to keep checking. Then I forget about checking Walmart and Target.
  22. I emailed Walgreen's asking about their internet coupon policy and they said it was up to the store management. Funny thing is if you go to the Walgreen's website and click on "Print Store Coupons" you get Smartsource coupons. What's the deal? If they have them on their own website, then they should accept them at all stores. The coupon policy should be applied accross the board.
  23. It's probably a limit two per month. When I registered, I printed two and went back to the site this week and was able to print two again. I didn't try to printanymore than that.
  24. I'm actually only about three hours away in San Antonio, and HEB is headquartered here. They are the grocery leader here and all of south Texas.
