  1. I have a CHI. First one lasted about three years. Started having problems with the cord. Bought my daughter a Revlon one that was rated a "Best Buy" with Consumer Reports and it just didn't seem to heat up as much and the plates didn't feel as smooth on the hair either. Wound up buying her a CHI the following Christmas and I also replaced mine with a CHI. No experience with Paul Mitchell but my cousin bought one of the ION ones and she loves it.
  2. Anyone know if the Aveeno deal is still ongoing. I thought the tags said through 6/6, but the running balance is still on my receipt this week. And it doesn't say limit met.
  3. Did she even give you a logical explanation? Should have asked her exactly where you are supposed to be able to use them. It was once implied to me that these coupons were supposed to be used on the "web". Well I guess that would work if they actually sold groceries online! How can they refuse their own coupons? I can understand that they might limit the number you use, but to outright say they aren't taking them is crazy.
  4. Wonder if they'll do it "To Go"? I'd Have to go a bit out of my way, but I probably won't.
  5. Don't mean to try to correct you or beat a dead horse, but I don't think you could have signed up for any emails last year. At that point the case had already been settled for almost three years. The only thing they were doing on that website last year might have been updating the status of that ruling. I worried that I wouldn't get a notice from them because my email address changed over three years ago. There had been a specific time frame before the settlement when they had originally been allowing you to sign up to get an emailed notice regarding the settlement. My gripe is that I signed up thinking I was a member of this class action and still came out with nothing. It didn't do me any good to sign up years ago because the general public was made aware of the freebies being given away and who knows whether all of those that went and picked up the freebies actually made any purchases at those particular department stores during the time frame that the price fixing supposedly occured. Way to go:g_thumble, for those of you who were able to pick up some of those items. I just didn't feel like making a special trip just for a free item, so I'm not kicking myself for not getting one.
  6. What was the point of having signed up on the settlement website when it was going to be announced to the public and then done on a day when most people work?
  7. I used my 30% on BF when they had B1G1F.
  8. Now how DUMB do you really think they are if they managed to get the customer not to buy the product or speak to the lead about it, only to buy it for themselves?? If they were really dumb they would have been uneasy if someone mentioned fraud on the part of Target putting out product and then not honoring the scan price regardless of who's error it is.
  9. Most states have scan laws. If products ring up higher than the price tag (granted, there probably wasn't a tag for that item), they have to charge you what the tag says. If it rings up lower, it's to your favor. The store has to take the loss. They can't scan an item and then say they're going to charge you a different price. Regardless of whether it should be 0.69 each juice, they made the mistake of stocking the product in that package of ten on the shelves for the customer to buy. I'd complain.
  10. I saw those yesterday but for only 50%. Wonder if they've been marked down further at my store. There were only four left. Might check tomorrow. I had to exercise a lot of restraint in not buying it.
  11. Missed the rulers, but was told they'll probably get more. I guess he was a manager and he told me when they get shipments in. He said they'd have other penny deals for the next week as well.
  12. Do they usually run this in-store at the same time as online? I seem to have missed the last time they did it in-store.
  13. Looks like they're trying to be more competitive. More great deals for us.
  14. I'm staying out of the toy aisles. There wasn't much left anyway. I did pick up a Black & Decker iron for $19.98 from $39.99. I had to buy it because the last time I tried to wait for a Panasonic one to go further down, I came back and the aisle had been reset. The few left at other stores are still regular price. I will keep a lookout to see if I can pick it up cheaper later.
  15. Definitley. She was giving them away. You should've corrected her and said Target was giving them away. Poor cashier must really be hurting on her salary because the money is coming out of her pocket. How in the heck are we cheating the system? Just because it's easier to share our information doesn't mean we are cheating anyone.
  16. Ditto. I wouldn't want to make you angy. She was there for a tree and didn't bother getting a cart-genious.
  17. To anyone who has stacked coupons of the same amount: ie one CRT coupon for $10/$50 and one email coupon for the same amount. I'd be able to use both of the above as long as my total is at least $60, correct?
  18. I wanted one of the peacoats so badly, but didn't buy online because I hate to pay shipping. I had only seen the blue/navy one at one store and really no outerwear at another store. It might be worth it to look around. There are three other stores I can check. For $19.99, I wouldn't be picky about the color. Thanks for the info!
  19. I've had to do that before. It would be great it they worked, but they don't like they should. What's the point? I got one of those $3 coupons for my trouble.
  20. The $5 GC makes it a great deal either way. Noticed the front display last week when the Vitamin Water and Dasani was on ad, but only saw the regular price label for Sobe. No other signs posted for that offer. Need to check it out. Thanks!
  21. The cashier is the monitor of valid coupon dates. Target, man. and most other store coupons are not programmed to stop working after the expiration date. Technically, expired coupons are not valid, but if your cashier doesn't notice or simply just doesn't look at expiration dates, then you've basically lucked out. Most coupons say one per purchase which means you can use one per item. That again, can be up to the interpretation of the cashier. You might get one who will give you a hard time about using so many at once, but if the coupon doesn't specifically say one per customer, then all should be honored. They can always fall back on whatever a specific manager may choose to limit. Managers have the discretion to limit your purchases. Hope that helps.
  22. Finally, some new printable coupons. Thanks!!
  23. Still 50% as of about 10:30am in San Antonio. Still several aisles left.
  24. Funny when I checked the website this morning, it was still showing at B1G1F. The pricing kind of makes it the same deal, but the coupon is better. I only had the Entertainment coupon to use. Still hate paying shipping though, but you can't find a lot of stuff in stores right now.
