  1. Is the code supposed to be good for $5 off of each one? It isn't taking $5 off on each for me: only $5 off total.

  8. Oh man, I hope they're good. A centerpiece is out for delivery from them to my parents today. I also just placed an order for 2 dozen candy cane roses, vase and Ghiradelli chocolates to be delivered to my husband at work tomorrow. I noticed after I completed my order that I had entered in our home zipcode and not his work zip. I called right away (within 3 minutes) and the CS person said she would send out a 2nd order at no charge to me. The way she was talking it sounded as if they were going to send 2 orders. She said they couldn't alter my first one and was suprised that their mail zipcode checker thing didn't spit my order out. Who knows, he might be getting 4 dozen roses tomorrow. I guess all the ladies who work for him will be jealous!
  9. Since he wanted a guitar, what of music does he like? My daughter bought some old record albums in decent shape (on eBay and Goodwill) and then we bought album frames at A.C. Moore and Michael's (on sale, of course) and she has them hanging in her room. It really looks neat. Would he like Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana,... Old school stuff... She has Queen, Peter Frampton, and some others; I can't remember right now. She would love to find a Beatles Abbey Road album. I'm looking, just not finding one for the price I want to pay.
  10. Is he into music? Maybe an MP3 player? Or, how about a gift card to a clothing or music store? At least with a clothing GC, he'd be able to pick up some fantastic deals after Christmas. I have a 15 YO DD and all she wanted was an Ipod and a new pair of Chuck Taylor hightops.
  11. Just got this in my email. Haven't really checked it out yet. http://f.chtah.com/i/45/143882431/midnight_madness.pdf Hopefully I posted the ad correctly, if not, HELP, please.
  12. txguy, is she using a good moisturizer on her skin at all times? This would help a lot. Look into some of the Origins products. I am one of the fortunate ones who doesn't need to wear full makeup. Moisturizer, blush (I use same color on eyes and cheeks), a little eyeliner, mascara, and occasionally lip color. Is your wife's skin in good condition that she could do without base? If so, have her give it a try on the weekend and see what she thinks.
  13. If you live in one of the states where Mega Millions is played, just go to a lottery retailer and ask. They can do it there.
  14. I'm thinking about purchasing a subscription or whatever it's called for the Mega Millions Lottery. I can buy a year's worth of picks at a discount. I think it's 90 some dollars. I would put the ticket or whatever they're going to give to me after I pay for it into a box and print off pictures of things we've always wanted and glue them onto the outside; for example, a new Jeep Wrangler, a Jaguar, log home, trip to Paris, trip to Disneyland, Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore, a hot air balloon ride, a Harley Davidson Fatboy (ok, so this one I WANT), a trip to Key West,... You get the idea. Every time we hear that the lottery is up really high, we always say we should buy a ticket. We'll never win unless we buy a ticket. So, is it goofy to do this or should I try to find a sensible gift (like what, I have no idea!!)?
  15. Points, what points?
  16. Ok, I found this info about the code: "Discount offer is Non-transferable and limited to a single order. 17. I tested the code and it appears it doesn't work on items from the outlet.
  18. Thanks Pampam! Also, some really nice person named Cindy emailed me this place: http://www.discountbeautycenter.com/product.asp?sku=35563 which includes the direct link to Lovey Dovey. I'm buying 6 tubes and some hair stuff. They have free shipping if your order is $55. Thanks Cindy and I hope you have joined GottaDeal! http://forums.gottadeal.com/index.php?referrerid=11733 Join if you haven't!
  19. This really tickled me! Aaaaaack, I just spent $110
  20. No, no, no, no, CG480 you have absolutely nothing to apologize for! I appreciate you posting the deal! I appreciate everyone who posts deals here. That's what GD is all about Charlie Brown. I don't understand why someone would criticize you for posting about a deal they found 2 weeks earlier. The only way I can excuse someone for making a snide comment about your post is that that person doesn't understand that you are a regular person and not someone who is employed by the board or has a vested interest and that posting deals is your "thing". I visit other boards too, and when I find a deal that I think is great I run over here and post it here. This is my favorite place now! So, ramiller1976us (and anyone else reading this), the next time you see a great deal someplace else or find one on your own: Bring it here and share.
  21. Ughh! I hate wrapping presents! I'm not sure why, but I just do. My oldest comes home from college tomorrow, maybe she needs something to do....
  22. So, why didn't you come here to share and post it 2 weeks ago? Hmmmmmm?
  23. I didn't find it funny at all. No offense to the OP.
