  1. The only restrictions she has encountered was to spend a certain amount and sometimes can't use them on the week end. Those are pretty routine restrictions for any type of restaurant coupon.

Yeah, that's my hesitation. Usually, it's a $40 min not including drinks. My friend used one and it provided great savings. We bought drinks with the savings :D
  2. some theatres don't accept them for the first 10-14 days of a release... but after that you also beat the rush of everyone else going to see a film ;)

Yeah or buy admission to a qualifying movie and then sneak into another ;) I haven't been inside a movie theatre in over 2 years. Since I live in the LA area, there are a lot of opportunities for free screenings anyway.
  3. They actually emailed this one to me. Probably because I bought the family guy deal last week. Too bad I already bought it for $14.99 on BF....

Yeah, actually I got the email too and I got the Family Guy dead last week. Unfortunately the workplace blocks checking personal emails *sigh*
  4. I usually input on my "To Do" task list in Outlook to follow-up with the rebates in 6 weeks. I've been dealing with rebates for years and for the most part haven't had too many problems except with PNY Technologies. First time, they claim to have never received my submission so I faxed it over and eventually I got it. Second time around, they actually did get it but gave me an excuse why it hadn't been processed. When I FINALLY got the rebate, it was $5 less than what I was suppose to get back. PNY said they'd look into it (they never did)...but by then I'd become so tired of dealing with them I gave up. This was a couple years ago...hopefully things have changed there.

On the flip side, Walgreens usually processes their rebates pretty fast. But that may be because I have them add it to my gift card (you get 10% back if you use this option!).

This is FYE's "Deal of the Day." So only good for today!

King of the Hill: The Complete Fourth Season

    FYE Price: $24.99

$15 after mail-in rebate (only good for 12/12/05 purchase!)

    Use 15% off coupon 15FF2005

    $1.98 for budget shipping

    $24.99-$3.75 (15% off)= $21.24 - $15 (rebate) = $6.24 + $2.98 (budget shipping) = $9.22

****EDIT*** Budget shipping is $2.98. Still good deal though!

  6. There's free shipping for orders over $25. I'm assuming this is a mail-in rebate? So I can buy it, get free shipping, and then send in the rebate?

Yeah it's free shipping. You must select Budget Shipping. Rebate doesn't give you much time though! You have to include your packing slip as part of the rebate submission. And budget shipping takes min 7 days so I may not get my packing slip until Dec 22. Submission must be postmarked Jan 8, 2006.

Even so, just completed my order!

  7. Click on "track this shipment" and then your UPS tracking number. My laminator order with a delivery date of 11/30/2005 has "billing informaiton recieved" which means it has been boxed, labeled, and is preparing to be transported to UPS... YAY!!! :g_dance:

Yeah I have a tracking number for the laminator, but I really hope the others get sent! Especially the DVD burner since that was suppose to be for my brother.
