Wow this is neat. Wonder if I can pace myself to write to 100.

I've heard Ecost is horrible with rebates. Some people have waited 6 months for their rebates.I sent out my ecost rebates 2 weeks before Christmas and I am still waiting for the check. I never got anything in the mail saying they weren't going to validate, so I can't figure out what the hold up is. It was supposed to take 6-8 weeks.
Still waiting for my Office Depot BF rebates, but the website says they got mailed on Friday so hopefully I'll get them...4 months after I submitted them.

To answer the question above, Walgreens does accept internet-printed coupons. I've redeemed them many times there.

Thanks!! I don't think I saw this in the weekly circular!

How about buying a gift card off Ebay? I do that a lot..usually get a 10% discount depending on the final bidding.
-
Were those in-store purchases or staples.com website purchases? I've had no problems with in-store purchased rebates, but having issues with the rebates from purchases made on the website.
-
I usually have no problems with Staples rebates of products purchased in their stores, but still haven't received any from Staples.com purchases. I wrote them an email since I couldn't find a phone number on the rebates tracking page, and they asked for more info (which they already had!). I sent them a reply anyway and it's been weeks and no reply. It may be time to start writing the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General's office.

I just use my inititals since my first name is unusual too. FYI, got my gift cards on Friday!Yes, but my first name is fairly unusual, I live in a small town, and I work in a very public atmosphere.... anything I do online could have implications at work.

I usually get a season pass every year. It includes the season pass, plus a booklet for free parking, one free admission for an adult, free admission for a child, and 50% off for a friend and free admission to Hurricane Harbor. I think it costs $50 or something (last year the person cut us a deal for around $32). It's better to call the season pass number directly than pay elsewhere including their website. Otherwise, perhaps check Ebay?

There are car washes that are $5 around me. But that's just basic wash and maybe sealer wax. I think MSNBC did an undercover investigation on how car washers are paid in the LA area. Many of them ended up getting something like $1/hr or something. A lot of the are illegal immigrants so they don't complain or report it to the authorities. Usually I do the $7.99 Tuesday-Thursday deal at a car wash near work and tip high.7.99? that's robbery!!!

Downtown LA is a bit run downed. I know there's the Holiday Inn is within walking distance. There's also a motel between Staples Center and the Pantry whose name escapes me...

According to this, $45 OD rebate and $15 Manufacturer rebate. I bought this on BF, and the Manufacturer's rebate came in due time, but I'm still waiting for my OD rebates.

Office Depot has a couple mp3s on sale. Check for the Sandisk 1B and 512MB in the latest Office Depot circular. I have the 1GB one and it works great. I added a 1GB SD memory card to mine.
SANDISK® Sansa™ 512MB MP3 Player $29.99 AR
-
They also have the 1GB version for $59.99 AR too

Neat! I went to last year's Presidents Day Sale and arrived 10 minutes before the store opened and was able to get everything I wanted including the $39.95 200GB hard drive and $19.95 DVD burner. Since I scouted the store on BF, I knew where to make the b-line for and was able to scoop away one of the very few hard drives and DVD burners away from some computer geeks

A few weeks ago I went to a RM and didn't really see much I cared to buy except jeans. But they stilled seemed a bit pricey even with the 30% off. If I can tear myself away from Olympics tv-watching, I'll see if the jeans prices are further slashed.

how about renting a dress?

Same here! Thanks, just wrote my reviews. I received the Starbucks card from last promotion really fast.

VISA has a 15% off promotion here. Or use TaxSlayer.com like I do

I've had veggie burgers but not the Boca burgers. I have a friend who's a vegan who does eat them though.

I've had good online shopping experiences with Staples, CompUSA, Amazon, Buy.com, Adidas.com, Dealsonic.com, Ticketmaster (except for the way overpriced service fees) and most Ebay sellers I've bought from No problems getting the item promptly and without damage.

Yeah, I went to the local Sam Goody and there were no good deals even with 20% off. CDs marked $19.99 I could find at Target or Best Buy for $9.99.No deals at my Sam Goody. 20% off CDs and DVDs but the CDs were marked $19.99 .. if they sold them for that price all the time, no wonder they've gone under ..

Ugh...rebates are evil. It's taking forever to get my BF ones...anyway I bought 1GB Sandisk SD card, 1GB San Disk flash USB drive, and a SanDisk 1GB mp3 player from Office Depot. So far ONLY received rebate checks from SanDisk for the SD card and flash drive ($40 combined on one check). The SanDisk mp3 player rebate check has been approved and hopefully will be mailed out soon. Still haven't gotten any from of the $10 rebate checks from OD for the flash drive and SD card. Both show up "processing."
