  1. The cheapest I have seen Dual Layer is $9.94 for 3 at Staples. Last time I looked they were around $18. I hope this is not the usual price for them. I wanted to record Season 3 of 24 for hubby who is deployed.
  2. Most definitely nice I was planning on treating myself to a new treadmill...but I may save that one for my New Years Resolution gift to myself. This way I can treat myself twice and justify it.
  3. I do it every year. I usually get stuff from work that I really don't want or can't use and end up giving them to family members. This way I know that I'm not returning them to the same person.
  4. So far I've only spent around $200 so I'm not doing too bad. Waiting for BF to do most of it.
  5. I'm not too impressed... but my son was. There is quite a few ink circles throughout the ad. :gd_dollar
  6. How much? Do they offer their BF stuff online? We have a BB but it's 30 miles away.
  7. What ad was this in? I think in all the excitement I overlooked it.
  8. So far it's Walmart.. then probably Staples
  9. I've seen them on Home Shopping Network. Not sure how they taste, but they look good.
  10. I don't know.... but have her send me some and I will offer my expert opinion.
  11. Good luck sis in law!! Everyone at our Walmart has to report for duty that day. Glad I don't work there or I wouldn't be one of us crazys getting out at 3 am..
  12. Which lightsabers are the ones going on sale for $8? I seen them in the ad but I have seen like 4 differant kinds at Walmart..lol. My son wanted one that was $30 the other day. Ain't no way when I can wait and get one for $8.
  13. That's a great idea with the iTunes gift card. :)
  14. WOOHOO!!! Thanks Brad! You da man! We don't have an ACE hardware but I excited for the people who do.
  15. My daughter is 15 and wants money or clothes. When she was 11 she was at that stage also. She didnt want Barbie or toys. I got her a karaoke machine one year. She has used it about 5 times. So I get what she asks for now. Saves me money in the long run.
  16. I've never done it either. Walmart is the only toy store around right now. We have a TRU 30 miles away. So I am definitely gonna try out PM this year.
  17. I just finished looking at the Big Book online. Now I am really ready to start some shopping!
  18. I've bought all my gifts for work and wrapped them the same day. I did have to make a list of what was what and what went to who..lol.
  19. Have you tried suggesting this to anyone? Maybe you can bring it up and it might be something ya'll can start next year. (Since some shopping has probably been done already.) I personally think it is a GREAT idea! Good luck!
  20. I didn't know TRU did this ... cool! I am always asking now if places have military discounts. You can definitely save. My 15 yr old does the same thing too. She knows she has a better chance of getting it if it is a % off. Where do I get the $5 off of $25? Thanks!
  21. The diaper is a great idea. I could think of so much stuff to do, but I have to be careful because some of the people at work don't have the same sense of humor as I do. The toilet seat is a good idea too. I bet that was priceless!
  22. Our family gets for the kids ( nieces and nephews) and usually spend around $30 max. Depending on what they want. I'm like others here... Christmas is mostly for the kids. I can buy myself perfume, pjs, or a very ugly hat like I got from an inlaw one year. We play Dirty Santa at work. That is so much fun. Hubby comes to work and plays it with us. Last year he wrapped up a 2x4 and taped a $5 bill to it. It was so funny watching people try to figure out what it was. This year he is deployed and won't be able to play, but he is sending me an ammo box so I have to think of something good to put in it.
  23. I don't remember there being any on BF last year either. I know that Walmart has a 51 Magnavox for $897. I believe that is an everyday price. Our Walmart has a 51 RCA for around the same price too. I'm not sure if they all have the same or not. But I am holding out for BF hoping that there will be one also. My big screen has one leg in the grave and waiting for me to push it in.

    GameStop

Walmart has the GameCube bundled right now with Pokemon XD Gale Of Darkness for $99.44. The Pokemon game alone is $50. This is a great deal and son wants the game, but we already have the system.
  25. Probably a little less... depends on how Staples sales ad looks. And there's not a lot at WM that I have to have this year. We did the trampoline last year and just bought son another tv last month. He got stuck with our 17 yr old floor model He was happy when it finally died. lol
