  1. Geeze... 7:30 in the morning and I was half asleep I guess.. I put this in Offline Deals.
  2. This is a great website to get coupons or discounts. They are limited to the area that they cover. Tennessee and NC mostly I believe. We get coupons from here each year that we are in the Boone NC area. It's a great way to try new restaurants or save on local attractions like Tweetsie Railroad. They have a limited amount of discounts to restaurants and stores each month. The discount certificates are mailed to your home. We live in NC and usually receive them within 2-3 days of ordering them. There are coupons that you can print out also. realdealsnow.com
  3. Thanks for the info! I have been thinking about buying a photo printer, but I haven't checked into the cost of ink for one. It costs so much for ink for my printer, that I don't want 2 expensives ones to buy now.
  4. I would go for the Cyberhome and that's probably what I will get if I don't go ahead and get another before then. I can't help but think "CAR" when I see Daewoo.
  5. Thanks for the helpful info here. My stupid dvd recorder (ilo) that I bought last Black Friday just died 2 days ago! GRRRRRRR. I went to the Walmart.com to check on the warranty. It says that it has a year warranty. So I am thinking YEAH!! it hasn't been a year yet. I am all excited until I read that I have to have the original box and packaging. So, lesson learned here (the hard way). Whichever one you decide to buy.. Keep the box. I want to hold out until BF to buy another, but I use it so much now, that I'm not sure if I can wait that long.
  6. Now that is a great idea! I have been looking for a reason to buy me a new one. My 15 yr old is always wanting to use mine and it's sounds like yours - it's tempermental also.
  7. No theme. We just look for what we like. We have bought ornaments while on vacation to remember the vacation. We bought a Santa on a alligator for our New Orleans vacation.
  8. I was at work yesterday and we decided to put up our Christmas tree. We put it up and our Grinch of a mechanic says that we are "cheating" Thanksgiving workers out of Thanksgiving. Because we are skipping Thanksgiving and heading straight to Christmas. We aren't skipping TG... we have it decorated for both. I told him that I'm not cheating anyone. I am still gonna eat Turkey on Thanksgiving. To pacify him, I hung little plastic turkeys from the tree also... maybe he won't complain anymore. Do anyone else (not me) think that each year we start earlier and earlier with Christmas?
  9. Buy a cheap digital camera and print the pictures off of your computer. Or print them at Walmart for I believe 12 cents a pic. I'm sure there will be alot of pictures that make you wonder "What the heck is that?" It's a cute idea.. "The World According To Our 4 Year Old" but there is no telling what you will see. I forgot to add.. At our Dollar Tree store they care 20 4x6 photo paper for $1. So if you wanted to print them out for yourself, that would be a cheap way. Just make sure that after he/she starts taking pics, that you post them somewhere on the forums. I would love to see them. Good luck!!
  10. Sorry... I'm addicted. I ain't going nowhere. I wish I had thought to google "Black Friday" last year and maybe I would have found ya'll earlier. Thanks for all the hard work ya'll are doing!
  11. I didn't realize that some or most didn't come with a tv tuner it it. This is good to know. I was thinking about this tv but if I can only use to to hook up my computer to it, I didn't want it. I would be able to read the forums better though huh? Thanks for the info!
  12. Sounds like a great way to earn some extra cash for Christmas

    Kmart ad

Not impressed with the BF ad..but I will go on Thanksgiving for the GBA games probably.
  14. Unless it's Vin Diesel, The Rock or just someone with a great accent... I won't be and won't need a wakeup call. But IF it's one of them, count me in.
  15. I wanna bite!! I wanna bite!! I was planning on waiting for hubby to get home before I bought one... but this one is tempting me. I would rather see it on in the store though before I bought it. There are so many out there that I don't like the look of and I don't know edtv from hdtv.
  16. A wake up call for Black Friday?
  17. Sorry.. I can't be any help on this one. We always get our boss a gag gift.
  18. I just shipped a package to hubby the other day. I sent him a small tree, ornaments, a stocking loaded with candy (no chocolate so it wouldnt melt), the kids and I baked sugar cookies and put them in a tin, peanuts, dvds, books, phone cards. And each kid (and myself) wrote him our own letter in separate envelopes. I think he will love it. :) I have a dvr through the cable company and I record shows all week. I try to ship out at least 2 dvds with 6 hours of shows a week to him. He and his friends love it... but they don't like some of the shows I have recorded..lol. But I am always up for suggestions from them! Oh, I about forgot..several of his friends here in the states are getting together and getting him differant types of card games and sending him for Christmas to play with the other guys. He said he is soooooo sick of poker..lol.
  19. That is a great idea. I know I would get there and then try to remember what cost what.
  20. Dang girl!!!! Great job on them deals! I hardly ever get the newspaper and just happened to get it on Sunday because I wanted to look at the ads. I am gonna get one every Sunday now.
  21. LOL!!!! Give him one for me too I think that the THanksgiving Kmart sale was the one that I got the gameboy SP with a few games included for $79 last year. And they also had games for it for $7.99. I ended up with 9 games and the SP for around $110.
  22. We get off work at 330 Wednesday and have the rest of week off.. I can't wait!! I am ready to do some shopppppppinggggg!!
  23. Goody's is also another good for teen clothes. My daughter found 2 pair of jeans there for around $35...not too shabby especially since I didnt have to go to American Eagle and get them. American Eagle is expensive and I don't think I have ever seen a coupon for them unless you purchase so much and get so much off the next purchase of $50. And $50 there is pretty much a pair of jeans. I think Old Navy is reasonable. I bought a ton of stuff for my son there and paid $2.97 for shirts, $12 for jeans and hoodies were $6.97. That was mostly stuff on clearance. But it still isnt bad when full price. Good luck!
  24. I got a great christmas present for .56 cents using the $10 coupon. It is a 6qt soup tureen regularly $33 was on sale for 70% off.:) Now I wish I had gotten more Sunday papers
