I don't know.. as much publicity as Walmart has gotten for BF this year, it may just happen. I dont' think they would have trouble getting rid of that many laptops.But who knows? I am expecting to see more people this year there. They had computers and Tvs for a week or so after BF last year. There were pallets everywhere in my store. Not sure how many they had to begin with though.

I'm taking my MIL out for Thanksgiving dinner this year. First time going out on Thanksgiving too. We had Christmas dinner at Hooter's one year... only because no one wanted to go to Waffle House.

Have 2 go to the 24 hours Walmart and 2 go to Target. Have cell phones with you so you can contact each other if you have to. :)

The items are on pallets and alot of times there are employees "guarding" them..at least at mine they do. And when it's time, the cut off the plastic, cardboard or whatever is around them.

You may want to check with your Walmart the closer it gets to BF. I'm surprised that a store will wait until 6am when the ad says 5am. From reading stuff posted in the forums..some WMs are even in denial that the ad has leaked out and don't believe the ads.

Yea, this is the first year opening at 5am. If you have a 24 hour Walmart maybe you can get in there early and hang out at the toys. We usually get in ours about 1 1/2 before the sale start, scoop out where we need to be. Hang out there, grab stuff, pay for it and outta the store in 15 mins or so. This all depends on if we are only after toys. If we are after electronics, hubby hangs out there and we meet up later.

Walmart starts at 5 am this year. Is there anything from TRU that you can get pricematched at WM? And with all the publicity that Black Friday is getting this year...I think the lines will be worse than they've ever been. But who knows..I may be wrong Good luck!

Is there something wrong with Maxtors? I was considering buying this...but I don't know the differance between them.

We always go to WM first and have plenty of time to get to Staples and in line. They gave out index cards for what you want and just go straight down the line and ask you. You can ask them where something is in the store and they will tell you while you are in line. I love it! They make it so easy to get in there and out quickly.

They would also sell dirty socks on ebay. Pictures included the girl wearing the socks.

Just proof that people will sell or buy anything.. lmao Dang, wish I had thought of it.

I'm not sure if the Lite On is any good. I bought a ilo from Walmart last BF. Well it died a few days ago. And me being the fixer that I seem to think I am..lol.. (NOT) I opened it up and looked inside to see if there was something noticably wrong with it. I didnt see anything ,but I noticed it had Lite On parts inside. I guess ilo is one of their products also. Just make sure whatever you get, keep the box and paperwork for warranty. My warranty isn't over yet, but they won't honor it without box and paperwork.

Our KB left our mall several years ago. It is weird with no toy store. And the mall is getting worse, several more stores leaving this month. The only reason I go anymore is to the movies.
