In a way that's good, it will give you enough time to see what accidental coverage warranties BB/CC/CompUSA offer.

Kayakmom, I know that BB and CC offer "accidental damage" warranties on personal electronics but I'm not sure about their computers. If you buy a laptop at one of those local retail stores + warranty it will probably be closer to $800-$900. So I would make your decision quick before Dell ends this great offer. Dell is $556 after $100 rebate with accidental coverage, seems like a nice deal on a pretty loaded laptop. Hope that helps.

You have no idea how prepared we were, except for I forgot to buy/bring gloves. I had two different jackets in case I needed something rainproof or something warmer. Different changes of clothing, bottled water, copies of the ads, everything. If only we were 3 hours earlier

Our CC's parking lot was so packed people were parking at a hospital next door. So the police came and notified CC staff that anyone parked there would be towed in a few minutes. After they announced it on the PA system about 30 people were running for the doors. ROTFLMAO

I think you're right, things have changed. A few years ago if you got in line at 11PM, you were almost guaranteed to be the first person in line. This year that all changed, you'd be #51 in line.
