If you were to purchase this Linksys 802.11g, you would still need a DSL modem. If you want to share a printer I would recommend a WiFi print server like this for $5 AR. Just clarifying, you do know the DSL modem and wireless router (802.11b or 802.11g) are two different components, right? Unless you plan on sharing files within your network, 802.11b should work just fine. I used 802.11b for several years until the wireless router died. Then I bought a Linksys 802.11g which works great.
