  1. 7 Eleven is open 24/7/365 and sells newspapers
  2. Lowe's will definitely get our business.
  3. mansker - Thank you for asking these questions, I'm sure it has helped others reading this :) CheapArse knows his stuff and is a Hot Deals veteran :)
  4. We'll know for sure Thursday. Perhaps someone will leak the ads before then.
  5. Kim, I've seen the layaway lines at WM and they are a zoo. Be prepared for a long wait. I would recommend waiting in line, get in the store as soon as it opens, find what you want quickly then go straight to layaway.
  6. I've seen 128MB and 256MB CompactFlash media for $7.99 and $15.99 respectively. These past deals were available from Amazon.com and Buy.com after rebates. I would choose the printer and sell it locally or on eBay for $50+, buy 256MB for about $20 and profit. If you want less hassle then get the free CF since there's no rebates to deal with.
  7. Thanksgiving day (Thursday 25 November 2004). Brad and I will be busy that day trying to scan them all for our valued readers
  8. Do you have a Fry's Electronics nearby?

First I have to disclose that I hate all Kodak and HP consumer digital cameras. They suck compared to Sony, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Minolta, Fuji, Pentax, etc. If you're not picky and want a good deal on a decent digicam then this is a good deal. I would also look at the Canon PowerShot A75 which has automatic and manual modes. It doesn't include a dock but you can still easily transfer pictures to your PC using the USB cable or a card reader. Actually here is a side-by-side comparison of the Canon vs Kodak.
  10. At this price range the LCD will only have analog and lack DVI. KDS is a good brand from what I have seen. Last week Dell Home had the E173 and Dazzle 8-in-1 for $217 after $10 rebate with free shipping and no sales tax in most states. HOT!
  11. If you buy the Canon A75 anytime soon don't forget to use a coupon.
  12. Useful information, this thread is hereby stickied
  13. Believe it or not your local Sam's Club or CostCo. We've seen some high quality flannel sheets at great prices.
  14. Yep BB is always a zoo. This may be the first year I'll avoid waiting in line at BB.
  15. I would ask your sister to go to CostCo between 11/26 - 11/28 to buy these rechargeable batteries. Trust me you need a good NiMH charger and rechargeable batteries with a digicam. Otherwise you will easily go through 8+ alkaline batteries a week, even more if they are cheapie store brand names. We have an older version of this charger and it is excellent. We use the batteries for my MP3 player, wife's CD walkman, our TV remotes, radio control cars, etc.
  16. Lisa, Are you a CostCo member?
  17. Luckycharm, what you may not know is our forum software converts Amazon (among other sites URL's) to our affiliate link automatically. For example if you were to link to this Nintendo GameCube bundle (which is HOT by the way) using a non-referral link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006FHB3I Do me a favor click that link, look towards the end of the URL ... notice something? Brad knows Hot Deals
  18. CheapArse, psst that's a repost
  19. and we really appreciate it Nice avatar, is that you?
  20. My skirt radar went off Pics or ban!
  21. venerdinero is correct as usual, look for at least 3x optical zoom not digital zoom. natasha1120 also has an excellent suggestion, on Black Friday Sears should have a Digitrex 3.2MP digital camera for $49.99 which is a steal!
  22. We are experiencing explosive growth and are looking at options such as optimizing MySQL, upgrading to a premium dedicated server, etc. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
  23. My wife has $6 McDonalds BB bucks. We're probably going to buy two CD's using $3 each savings.
  24. Andy, can you recommend any of these games?
