I agree with venerdinero. Visit Best Buy first, if you're there for a doorbuster be prepared to wait in line for at least 3 hours. Then visit OfficeMax (which isn't as popular - so some items may be left around7-8AM).

zitadelle is correct. You will need two things if you want to surf the internet at home without wires (WiFi). 1) Broadband high speed internet, DSL or cable. Should cost around $29.99 - $60.00 the advantages are 50x or faster than dialup, it won't tie up your phone line. So you can talk on the phone and surf the internet high speed at the same time. Several broadband providers are offering $100 rebate plus introductory pricing for your first 3, 6 or even 12 months of services. Visit Dell.com scroll down, in the middle left click More Details underneath Services. 2) Wireless router and card for the laptop. Just look for a Hot Deal it can be found for $49.99 or less. Last month CompUSA.com had this on sale for only $19.99 after rebates.

No one knows for sure until we see the actual Black Friday ads in about 9 hours. I'm guessing it's $149.98 out the door - rebates = $49.99 http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/click.php?id=295

CPU processor only or desktop PC (without monitor)?
-
Black Friday (Nov 26, 2004) has the best deals if you're willing to wait in line for hours.
-
A few thoughts: 1) $400 is a lot in rebates. 2) If this comes with a 17" CRT monitor then it's a Hot Deal. Otherwise it's luke warm. 3) If this comes with regular Windows XP Home and 17" CRT then BUY IT!!!. If it comes with Lindows then ... Dell usually has the Dimension 3000 PC with 17" CRT for $349 with free shipping.

Here are some reviews http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/DX4530/D453A.HTM http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/dx4530.html Personally I dislike all HP and Kodak digicams and 5MP is really overkill (unless you plan on printing 8x10 pictures). In this same price range I would buy the Canon PowerShot A75 which is 10x better. For your convenience here is a side-by-side comparison of the Canon vs Kodak.

Same coupons found in The Oregonian newspaper here in Portland, Oregon.

Videotaping is more like it, shh you're going to ruin the plot

Hi Allison, I would recommend reading Dave's Picks for digital camera recommendations. At the top choose which category best fits your needs.

Just curious, where are you from?
