I'd like both too. I'm going to try to work out a deal w/someone in line. "If you get me 2 care bears, I'll get you a little people" Hopefully it'll work. If not I'm going for little people.

I know my walmart will price match the exact item during the items sale time. I think each store has it's own policy tho. Be sure to check beforehand!

I've revised my list and encouraged a buddy to help. All the confusion about Walmart has me edgy, so I'll probably get there at 2:30 instead of 3:30 and I'm not even getting the laptop!

I can't seem to look at anything but this site. It's made BF so much more fun. If that's possible.

Before Krispy Kreme came north we would drive to Kentucky just for 'em! We'd bet if the "hot now" sign would be on! Ah! Those were the days( before kids)!

I've been off sugar and flour since Sept. I'm gonna indulge on Turkey day and on Black Friday- KRISPY KREME! I'm excited about shopping but a donut sounds like a good second place.

Our Walmart is a superstore and they hand out pallet maps. I've never had a problem finding the blitz stuff, just retreating after I've gotten it. I just let the mass of people float me out. Kind of like crowd surfing!

The whole subject of price matching has suddenly taken a ugly turn for me! Went to Walmart tonight to case everything out and saw that Walmart doesn't have the stuff I plan on pming. Not even the lipstick from Walgreens. I need to rethink my plan.

Depends on the deal I guess. Last year at target I wanted to get the girls holiday tee's. By the time I got through the opening rush and found out where they were they were gone.

I live in a Columbus suburb. I don't do the big box stores but always see massive lines outside Circuit City and Best Buy on BF. They always show the hardy souls on the news Thanksgiving night w/sleeping bags and tents. Which BB are you considering?

We bought the consule model last Christmas. My then 4 year old played it for a few days then it got pushed aside. Lately she's been playing it alot more and our 3 yo likes it too. Think about the hand held one. It uses the same cartridges and I think you can plug it into the TV. It's more expensive. But might be cheaper in the long run if your little ones deceide they want to go mobile.

Ours is 5 1/2 hours away too. I keep telling DH I'm taking a road trip to get that 19.99 towel rack. He just shakes his head and walks away! They have a great web site.

I'll hit Walmart aroung 3am. Get all my price match stuff, things on the general list and then get in the pallet line. Most of my price matches are from Target so I'll hide out in the magazine section untill about 5:45, get in line and then try to sweep the mall(B&BW, Penneys and Sears). I've thought about this waaaay too much!

I tend to agree. I thought last years profits were flat and this year was going to be a huge year for blitz items. Oh well, I'm still getting up at 3am to hit Wally's for those darn care bears and lots of pm's and should be done by 6:30.

Not a deal, but I feel your pain! We already have the consule but DD wants something she can play anywhere. All the prices look about the same everywhere I've checked.

I did the photo mug for DH after our first was born. I ordered it from CVS though. I liked that it was in the glaze. KWIM?! It's still holding up after 5 yrs.

We did our own last year. They turned out okay. We printed them at home and saved a bundle. This year I have a "vision" of a b&w close up of the girls with the message in gold. I dread taking posed shots of them!

Our lab Lily gets presents too. The kids love picking stuff out for her. She also gets a gift from Santa. We went to Petsmart to get ideals for her and my oldest said to not say anything because Lily would hear!

I think I'm getting better at staying at budget for my kids. I try to stay at around $300 for each. My problem is shopping on BF and then finding "unexpected" deals leading up to Christmas. I do get a lot for my money though.
