LOL....It's unbelievable how many times this has been addressed (in the GUARANTEE dedicated thread)and people still CONTINUE to ask. I'll be at there...might need some extra coffee or a midday nap but I'll be there. Somebody was making a racket in the kitchen at about 5 am this morning.

I will vote once I've more or less finalized the list so far I know CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, JCPenney and Sears(not sure about shopping at the last 2:P)

there was some hiccup about this at the store I went to yesterday but the higher ups came around and said so long as its separate transactions a customer can use as many as they want. I got lucky that I overheard a gentleman offering his extras since I only printed 1 to go with the one from newspaper since I figured my father wouldn't have much patience for shopping. I managed to get him his wok for 7.99, they were on sale for 17.99 down from $50 and he ended up buying 2(1 for his friend) so I just told him to charge the guy sale price:P They looked like they were part of One day sale but I figured if you don't try you lose out anyway, the coupon went through like a charm. Then we headed to the men's shoe department where we EVENTUALLY got 2pairs of New Balance sneakers at 19.90 each a pair of pumas for 24 and some reebok or nikes for 20.xx. I split it into 2 purchases and used last two coupons. I picked up some JCPenny flyers but he had given up and we just exchanged a shirt and left.

couldn't agree more....sometimes you can find a 20-30% off code online and if you already have a warranty with them they'll email you codes as well.
-
I've never noticed this but would consider stopping in to try and get one.

LOL....I woke up way too early and walked to the gas station about 4 times before they FINALLY got them in. Nobody to argue with although I was a little surprised to get heckles at that ungodly hour of the morning:P

Black Friday Comparison Charts - Tell Us What You Think!

Cool...whoever's doing Ereaders got their work showcased:P Now on to adding Sears stuff -
Ours opens all doors at the same time (mall and external). They used to have people with snowglobes at each external door but last year had them set up upstairs by the customer service desk.

I would strongly suggest AGAINST this since they only have a 2 week date. You'll probably lose them that way unless you plan on buying other stuff there. PLUS there's lots of restrictions on how you use them, not sure how familiar you are with them. Walgreens counts them as manufacturer coupon so if you have 3 items and 2w/coupons then you can only use 1 register reward. Remember you can't use same brand RR to pay for something and expect to get another back. CVS is much more use friendly

Sorry for your loss and wishing you happy thoughts for this LONG holiday season. I like the photo idea. I did digital frames one year and personalized to people. They also have the frame keychains though not sure how well that would hold up with a bunch of keys.

My Kmart was busy last year, a good couple hundred or so waiting in doorway to get in with no organization or line method. I guess it depends on your area, good luck.

I'm so bummed ...looks like Thanksgiving is not at home this year which kills my shopping plans. I have already explained to my dear mother that if it's not possible to be back by 8pm then I'm not going. Thankfully she understands and figures it will be a late lunch so 3-7ish(which I'm not totally loving) which means I can get some shopping done beforehand and still be at walmart for 10pm opening. I can only hope that since SIL has been on medical leave they'll have some BF plans of their own and not make it the usual drawn out night. I JUST don't understand people who pay full price for stuff.
-
I respectfully disagree, if she spoke to the store manager they should have a very good idea what will be happening in THEIR store on BF. I'd be seriously worried if they just open shop and HOPE everything goes ok. There has to be a security plan in place and I dare say ALL items have been ordered with many already in stock taking up warehouse space. Some people just choose to be vague and uninformative whether they think it builds excitement or will force person to be there at ridiculous hours who knows. The actual employees and lower down managers of the store may not know much but you bet your bottom dollar that store manager is informed on what will be happening on the biggest sales day of the year. I'd wager that they've had a few district/regional meetings about it already.
-
LOL....I think some malls have volunteers do it some years so maybe it's the same agency type thing?
-
I don't know about that, I think that's a big part of the draw. Now if Brad opened up a chat here maybe that'd work, I hear one existed once.
-
I didn't notice but I've never seen a gift wrap station at Kmart either so beware:P

I did not know Kohls did price matching, it doesn't mention excluding BF items. If I find the same item with a lower price at another store, will you match/beat the competitor's price? Yes! We do match our competitors' prices. Just bring a copy of the competitor's ad with the current date on it to your nearest Kohl's Department Store. (Make sure the ad includes a description of the item.) This applies to in-store prices and products only, not to Kohls.com pricing or products.

Sears Price Match Plus Policy/Price Protection Policy
tinkrbel replied to bigjimslade's topic in 2011
Also doesn't apply to any Thnanksgiving/BF sales Q: Does Sears price match limited time promotions, such as early opening specials or doorbusters? A: No, if the competitor’s promotion has a duration of less than 6 hours, it is excluded from our price match policy. Q: Do you price match specials around Thanksgiving? A: No, we do not match local competitor’s Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Saturday after Thanksgiving, Sunday after Thanksgiving, or Monday after Thanksgiving. These offers are typically limited in time and quantity.
