My bff got 3 big angry bird plushes for her household. Probably not their intended purpose, but her, her husband, and I had fun trying to peg each other with them after the kids had gone to sleep:P Also for any adult crazies they had Angry birds tshirts at JCPenney(guys dept) for 9.99 yesterday.

I think that is a GREAT idea. If I can get a couple on clearance AFTER Christmas I'd love it for godson and nephew. If I mention it to BFF she'll get it beforehand and it'll help keep gs a little better behaved maybe? hmmm, it'll at least work for Mia which is at least part of the battle:P

lee county...I have a home in lehigh....Are the stores clustered around there or all separate?

what do they expect? a sleeping bag on hard concrete? A little cushioning is nice. I daresay even our medieval hay stuffed mats would be better than a plain sleeping bag.

if its not a ticket item you'll need a cart or trolley and just pick up off shop floor. They had quite a few tv's around the floor last year.

LOL..well if we're going for longshots THEN I'd like my dad to pressure wash and paint the house next week so when I attempt to put the tree up (as a surprise for my mom) the house will look ALL Christmassy

I've been spoiled by clearance sales all year and don't see anything worth spending $40 on to get the camera.

I think retail is just a crap chute I have applied everywhere known to man, I'd take any job and probably even work BF if need be at this point. It is not ideal but it IS the nature of the retail beast. Sure it would be nice if managers and higher ups gave even an ounce of consideration for employees but these days I think THAT is a rarity. I hope this guy doesn't get fired for his petition(and the attention he brought to Target) and I fully understand why he did it but I doubt it'll make any difference.

I haven't seen any trees yet this year. I'm hoping to find some that match up with the toys we already have.

ditto...Example: I JUST got back from shopping with my mom's bff and she was talking about not knowing what to get kids on her list. We had been talking about naught kids with angel faces so I showed her my godsons Toystory photo bday invite and she started about how the kids love buzz and how there's an older sister. She walked out with 2- Buzz Operation and 2- 50th Anniversary operation for $4 when they each have a value of 18.99-20.99. She could have given the kids parents $10 or more per kid and gotten crappier stuff.

OMG...I've just printed another 10 copies...Mother's bff is going to take me shopping today :) Silly lady has trouble shopping by herself. Apparently she found some mens dress pants perry ellis for 9.99 and club room shirts for 3.99. It's so nice to be able top stock up on necessities. Maybe today I can pay the coupon I got yesterday forward:)

I think it would be lovely of your family to welcome him. I studied abroad for a few years and the Christmases I had invitations were always a little nicer. It's kind of sad that I've all but lost touch with such good friends.

I agree it would depend on person and the way the request it was made but I would definitely draw the line at GC. I am not giving anyone money for Christmas unless I know they needed it and then they'd outright get cash (or a check/visa card if mailing) to spend as they need.

I guess it kind of pays off sometimes :) Is yours also a state where the price can't go below a certain amount or no?
