  1. they just adjusted two of my orders. they aren't necessarily supposed to but they've never given me hassle when I've asked and it wouldn't hurt. I go through the help option, enter order details then choose chat option.
  2. just a friendly reminder to check any amazon purchase made recently for lower prices and ask for an adjustment if price has been lowered.
  3. I'm thinking your best bet is going to be to buy some mutipack sets at target or elsewhere. Michaels has 70@ off christmas ornaments today from 7pm onwards in-store
  4. there's a maze available that they need to unlock to get card but I think it was pricey
  5. my 2 cents...stay away from these. They are cheaply made, half lids pop right off and do not hold much weight. They are uncomfortable to carry because of flimsy material and molding. I made the mistake or ordering some last BF online for instore pickup and even at BOGO I wouldn't do it again. I'd have to think about taking them for free.
  6. lol....I did the same last year, this year I went after thermacare heating pads and cepacol mixed in with a few of the scunci elastics to wipe out RR, I only have 1 left. at CVS I went with Mars, flossers and nail polish sets plus free deodorant from 4 day sale. Thankfully I had luck at both the stores I went to since they had no problem with multiple transactions.
  7. Apparently they put a movie theatre into our mall recently and there were kids loitering the parking lot 1.5 hours before store opening. I was really uncomfortable waiting last 10 minutes for Macy's to open. Genius manager decided to roll up shutters maybe 15 minutes before store opened so everyone not waiting with us quickly go out of cars/sidewalk area and pushed into us, it was semi quiet for a while then got louder and louder and then the kids started the crazy laughter (a cackle-sounded like something out of a horror movie just before the psycho goes on killing spree). 1 was enough but then people started answering 'the call" with more of the same including the foreigners directly behind me, I looked at mother and hoped for the best but fully expected someone with a gun/machete to go on a spree.
  8. I've been wearing the new one since Wednesday night, wore an older one a few times in the last couple of weeks and got some crazy stares from shop staff
  9. OMG...sounds like she had a genius sales rep like mine. If it's this one try doing ship to store for free shipping. I'm not sure if they're trying to upsell or just genuinely didn't train/educate sales people but the lady at my store tried the same line with gps accessory bundle and I had her scan it anyway hoping I was right since didn't take print ad with me. It worked and she seemed almost upset by it and wasted an additional 3 minutes of my life reading word for word off screen why I should spend another $5 on warranty for a carrying case.

  11. I don't know if I believe in it, but I sure hope it exists people need to start thinking about the consequences of their actions/lack of actions. In other news, I held it together and didn't beat anyone or get myself arrested last night at WM but the lack of organization or care really pissed me off AND I will not be there next year. That store really needs new management or a few years to get enough complaints together to do something about ineptitude.
  12. that's a different model too. I liked the bluetooth on this one and the maps but couldn't bring myself to buy refurb, thought someone else might enjoy it.
  13. try amazon or google/bing search for a similar price? WM website is pointless on BF
  14. Oh ammy my trusted BF buddy WHAT is going on today!? managed to order jeeves and wooster but clicked add to cart many times and each time was adv added to waitlist. this is NOT normal I'm chatting to a useless amazon rep, I generally get less frustrated with an "I have no clue, let me get someone who does" than spending 20 minutes going round in circles and avoiding question because you don't know the answer.

  16. This year has been a pretty mixed bag, I think next year I will stick to my mostly online plan unless absolutely necessary. Best Buy2 day sale last week wi fi ready bluray player 59.99 Amazon kindle fire (for co-worker to give to son) Lorax Bluray combo pack * 3 Brave Bluray combo pack * 1 3DS games (possibly for toy drive) oceans trilogy bluray set multiple blurays including magic mike, downton abbey sets etc sewing machine (for coworkers mom) Sears- Members Only online event pizza stone set chocolate fountain Kohls online wall hung jewelry organizer over the door organizer mens dress pants (ordered 2, 1 has since been cancelled) mens dress shirt ninja(for coworker) Best Buy online canon a2300 (for coworker) dark shadows bluray snow white and the huntsman bluray Office Depot online magellan 50lm gps for parents Radio Shackonline harmony 600 remote (backup to harmony 650 I got my parents last year. they're trying to kill it on purpose I think) *I then spent a good hour over different attempts at talking with RS chat and phone support trying to get gps accessory bundle. chat ppl kept spinning different yarns including telling me to call phone support for price adjustment, phone ppl kept telling me IT was working on updating prices. after trying at midnight when sale went live, then at 3 when I woke up for amazon sales and 4-5 when I got back up to fetch paper I emailed them and was eventually advised it's an instore item only. Kmart online Brave bluray combo pack * 2 Secret of the Wings bluray combo pack * 2 cobbie cuddlers *2 (both pairs for less than the cost of one ) newegg some dvd/bluray burning software FAR Michaels 6 photo boxes 2 13-opening collages 3 candy melts Walmart -before 8 pm sale Brave bluray combo pack found strewn on shelf next to electronics -during sale 700tc sheet sets * 3 kids pj's *2 hangover/hangover 2/due date bluray combo pack wrath of titans bluray riders strech jeans *2 Brandsmart 10 cup coffee maker (1.88 after rebate-I had missed JCP online sale for $8) iron * 2 (1.88 after rebate) Macy's black and decker 16cup rice cooker * 2 (thank you for instant rebate in store-1 for us, 1 for mom's bff) 4qt sautee pan (for mom's bff) *Maybe it was just me but after all the shootings and crazy crap people do reported on the news, people laughing maniacally waiting for the doors to open was very unsettling. Made moreso when others decided to mimic it. I felt like I was in some horror movie waiting for the slashing or shooting up to begin. Radio Shack gps accessory bundle *rep tried to tell me I needed to buy GPS to get accessory bundle on sale. She begrudgingly amused me by scanning them both and not saying anything when she was wrong and then stood there and read me the selling points/jargon on a $5 warranty for gps case even though I said "no" as soon as she mentioned it. Home Depot poinsettia * 10 wreath *They had free coffee and donuts/pastries and were very kind/helpful. ***I will NEVER be in Walmart pre sale time. Website was useless last year, they resolved that this year by NOT putting most of the sale online. In store, customer service manager had previously advised there would not be any closing until 10pm for the night. They kicked everyone out of the store around 6:15 to let us back in some 30 minutes later after forming a queue outside. I couldn't give you a reason for that since A)the store wasn't set up once they let us back in an 2) nobody knew where things were or were going. Once inside none of what I'd come for could be located, there were tons of shirts(and shirts) along all aisles but none had a map or a clue where anything might be or go. I walked to blurays which were in produce same as last year but quickly noticed there was only 1 case of 8.96 blurays which was still wrapped but bottom half of shelfs were completely empty and neither brave or madagascar bluray combo packs could be found. Since I had someone who could get the Madagascar I needed at Sams I focused on finding kids pj's and sheets. I eventually ran into someone who told me where pj's were and they were safely wrapped so I focused on sheets. I spent no kidding 45 minutes (no kidding) trying to find out where they were and eventually found a shirt who went to find them but got lost. I eventually gave up and decided to get the pj's I needed so tore into the packaging since there wasn't a soul anywhere near them and I was already fed up at this point, dropped by blurays again but seeing no new pallets wandered back to sheet "area", no sign of older gentleman also waiting on some or the guy who was helping us so wandered about wasting time which is how I picked up jeans as well as blurays and some dvd's (best of shera, call of the wild for reminiscing) . I wandered around some more, watched video game pallets come out and get devoured before some shirt came around to tell ppl off while no extra bluray pallet appeared. Back to sheets area I went, found two ladies with 2 medium size boxes putting sets out. No lie, they filled two shelves of an endcap so had I not been wandering aimlessly would have missed them. In the whole mess I spoke to the manager who was totally nonchalant about the whole thing telling me the sheets will go "in that area" and not to worry about blurays. I spent over 2 hours waiting and expected a little more a)organization respect. I expect the worse from other customers and staff but coming from the store manager it was more than a little insulting and infuriating. I wandered back to bluray section while pallets were opened by shirts and asked 2 different people when another 8.96 pallet would come. 1st completely ignored me, 2nd said later and wouldn't elaborate so at 8:30 I decided I'd had enough and checked out. The cheap single dvd's on cardboard backing rang up "not for sale" and after 15 minutes waiting for CS rep who eventually came over advised it "must be" part of 10pm sale (since the other shirt ran off with my paper I couldn't verify or argue otherwise). I walked the whole way across store checkout (lined with multiple suits and random shirts) to the exit where I had parked my car only to be told I had to walk the whole way back since I couldn't use that exit AND then get a jovial cop give me the great news that the other store was worse and I should be happy. It took everything in me not to punch this guy, it's one thing to miss out on a deal because you're too late or you didn't know but to have total lack or organization and then joke about it?!
  17. You can't get rid of me, but I do not need another BF 2013 shirt
  18. great ideas so far...depending what their interests are maybe books or a magazine subscription or two? a nice cozy blanket, slippers, and/or robe for the winter or even one of those blanket w/sleeve things (if they'd find it amusing). If you're going down the movie road throw in some popcorn/snacks etc. My grandpa and dad are partial to those hickory farms gift boxes.
  19. I cannot...I've never spent $80+ on a pair of shoes no need to go through trouble to start now:P It would have been a different case had they made it easy
  20. I think ammy needs some sleep it's been acting strange for me all day. did the same thing for sewing machine I was able to get for coworkers mom.
  21. HELP, Amazon is trying to stop me getting my boots! It refuses to let me add black ones but will let me have more versatile brown ones BUT I can't pull the trigger on brown
  22. kmart BF can be disastrous...luckily in my case years ago it was a stupid mp3 player and I only waited 20-30 minutes outside and another 20-30 inside while they figured out the thing hadn't arrived and substituted something else. It seems ludicrous that they wouldn't offer a substitution but I wouldn't expect too much from them.
  23. never had it but entered. Thanks
  24. kinda late but I almost learned the hard way that amazon and google chrome don't seem to play well together....then again maybe it's amazon's site today. I was waitlisted for the sewing machine and it kept changing every few minutes from "you're in waiting list" to "join waiting list". I logged back in using firefox and got the deal but then it didn't reflect as claimed until I tried to join waitlist again.
