Received my SS Gift tonight. Whoever my SS is, is like an elf! They got one of everything on my list. It was such an amazing surprise waiting for me when I got home from work. It included a stuffed M&M, Yankee Candle, Bath and Body Works lotion, cookbook, cookie mix, soup mix, Tide Pen, and Hoiday tissues. I love, love, love, it all. And all so thoughtful, and obviously carefully chosen, it made me cry.(Happy and surprised tears, not sad!) And I promise to post photos later tonight! Thank You SS!

Thanks so Much...I have a friend who's Mom passed away a few years ago. Their families "thing" was every year they got new flannel holiday pjs to open on christmas eve...I started sending them their christmas eve pjs every year after they lost their mom. I think I'm going to order and send the VS pjs. Thank You for the info!

Packergurl-What are your favorite PJS at VS? I have 2 people I need PJS for and I was considering VS...But theres a lot of them. I need flannel, so your post caught my eye...

I have a different opinion. My parents NEVER told me the truth...but always said when you stop believing, Santa won't come anymore. At 30 years old I get 1 gift from my parents, and the rest say From: Santa. Just a different take on it!

Should I be worried? I have not gotten any names/addresses yet? And I am signed up for all 3!

We fry on our back patio-it's pretty big-about 25 feet away from the house, and concrete. We've never done it on grass(too unstable). One year it was really windy, and it was really hard to keep the propane lit, and the oil at the correct temperature. Other that that it's been fanatastic. We always WANT to try some type of seasoning, but we're afraid of ruining Thanskgiving for everyone who comes over. The turkey is kind of the main attraction. We always say we're going to do a Thanksgiving practice turkey in the begginning of November, but things always get hectic and we never have. If you try seasoning and frying, I would love to know what you do and how it comes out!

We do fried turkey also. We have a gas(propane) turkey fryer. The most important thing to remember when turkey frying is the oil level. We fill the turkey fry pot with water, and drop the turkey in to measure how much the turkey will make the water level rise(adding approx 3 inches for bubbling oil), remove the turkey and then mark the pot with a sharpie where the water line is. Then we fill it with peanut oil to our water mark. We've been doing it since 2004. Never had a fire or anything. And our turkey frying pot has every years water/oil line marked with Sharpie. We laugh at it every year when we drag it out. Also-We don't season it with anything. Just plain turkey-the skin gets nice and crispy. Side Note: Our turkey fry pot can only fit up to 18lbs, so we're always mindful not to go over that when we buy our turkey. The hardest part is keeping the oil temperature regulated to 350 degrees, but not over 375 degrees. And we fry for 3-4 minutes per pound. Excellent!

I had to return more than one thing from BF at Target, and I did receive the $10 gift card. I was able to "return" the gift card. They basically took the gift card back, "returned" it from my receipt, and then returned my items for full value. Plus this means if any of my gift-receivers need to return something, they can return at full value. My Target guest services person actually advised me to do the return this way. Worked out great!

Thanks Ares! I am familiar with the Insignia brand at BB, But the name Element threw me off-I've never heard of it!

Does anyone know anything about the 55' tv listed in the ad, brand name "Element"? Was wondering if it is any good, or would we be better off sticking with a familiar "name brand"?
