I would agree with Gurnee Al. I remember seeing TV shows a few years ago that Vegas was becoming a big family destination... But in my experience, it really isn't. They really seem to be getting back to the "old Vegas", gambling, free drinks (when you're gambling), big glitzy shows, etc. The basic problem with making Vegas family friendly is that families don't gamble. They need to attract singles and couples over 21, not people with little ones in tow.

If you have a Boscov's store nearby, they have good prices too. I buy my suits there too... Store Locations: http://www.boscovs.com/static/about_boscov/stores_locations.html?storeId=10001&langId=-1&clearClickHist=Y -

They have circus-style shows free several times a day and a Krispy Kreme stand where donuts are made fresh on-site. It's a reasonably priced casino on The Strip. http://www.circuscircus.com http://bignosepro.com/Clowns/circus-circusBig.jpg

I have the DC14 Animal (the purple one). I loathe it (it's beyond hate). It's been back for service twice and it's only 2 years old. We have mostly hardwood floors and tile. The motor that runs the beater brush keeps wearing out. Not to mention that the ergonomics are all wrong. I'll never buy another Dyson product. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=16321&highlight=dyson

Our Wal-mart has them too. You could also try Amazon.com.

Try Bed Bath and Beyond. They always have those 20% off postcards arriving in the mail too. Remember, they take expired coupons and Linens and Things coupons too.

a good MP3 player with new features
Marcster replied to cbbutler2's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
For Christmas, I got the second-generation iPod Shuffle like nikkilugi describes. It doesn't have any features other than play, pause, ffwd, rwd, skip, replay, on and off. The clip is very cool, I expect the whole next generation of MP3 players to have them. It's very basic, but I like my little Shuffle... http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Music/music.gif Reviews: http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/shuffle.ars http://reviews.cnet.com/Apple_iPod_Shuffle_second_generation/4505-6490_7-32069562.html (with 45-second video review) -
I'll second that! It's like a search engine for the best magazine prices on the 'net. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Happy/Big-Thumbs-Up.gif How about Black Enterprise for $8.54 for 48 issues? http://www.magazinepricesearch.com/detail/blackenterprise.html Good Housekeeping, $5.00 for 12 issues: http://www.magazinepricesearch.com/detail/goodhousekeeping.html?terms=good%20housekeeping

A good friend of mine has a party every year (and the 28th is his birthday). We'll go to that this year (last year I was sick as a dog with the flu). We're bringing ring bologna and two 2-liters of soda, so they'll be that for sure. A one of the fellow party goers has made hot wings from scratch, those were awesome! I don't know if he'll be there this time. We usually play Texas Hold 'Em till the ball drops. New Year's Day we'll go to my in-laws for pork & 'kraut (and parades).

My 1 GB takes up to 621 on my 5MP Kodak Z-740. And even if I fill that, I have a 256MB, 128MB, and a 64MB to fall back on. Believe it or not, I resisted buying a 2 GB on BF. I just bought XM for my wife: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=62121 http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/Hot_Rod_by_m0rphine.gif Assuming that I get an iPod shuffle from my in-laws, I'll just get this Scosche FM-MOD01 to listen to it on the radio of my car... It seems appropriate for the little driving I do. But for my wife's car, and the amount of driving she does... XM (or Sirius) was the way to go.

I bought an Olevia LCD TV on BF 2005 and had to wait five (5) months for my $200 rebate... The rebate form said 8-10 weeks as I recall. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Angry/swear1.gif

Our cats normally get canned Friskies or the equivalent for "breakfast" and "dinner". They have dry food and water out all the time too. For Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Easter, I'll give them canned Fancy Feast (a turkey variety for T-Giving and Christmas). I'd give them ham flavor on Easter, but they don't seem to make that. Does anyone else do this with their pets, or am I the only freak? http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Animals/catyum.gif I'd give them Fancy Feast all the time, but with seven of them, it would get a little expensive...
