The Wii games haven't devalued much at all. In fact, it doesnt really save you anything to buy most of the titles on gamestop when available as they sell them used for practically the new price.

I want to buy clothes for my daughter for next spring/summer from their clearance section, but they are charging $50 shipping, which negates the deal. Anyone know of a free shipping code? I searched the web briefly but could not find one.

WOW, what did you buy? I didn't end up going to Walmart last year because there was just nothing interesting enough to warrant the trip, in my opinion.

I dont see anyone on here complaining about those who buy things for resale. To me, there is no difference between selling a ticket as opposed to taking the ticket, purchasing the item, and then selling it on ebay at a profit. The former is just the shorter way to make some money, requiring less effort, but providing a smaller return. Its capitalism at its best!

It really depends. Last year I spent about $3000 -- 2 laptops, 1 desktop, a 32" LCD, about $1k in toys for my daughter, digital cameras, and a bunch of other stuff. Sounds like a lot, but you wouldn't believe the amount of stuff I got for that much. I also saved at least $2000. This year, I will probably spend a lot more. In addition to toys and electronics for my daughter, I am looking for another desktop, a projector and screen for my media room, 2 home theater systems, stereo system, a camcorder, some Wii games for myself, and any other great deals I can find (new house :) ) I was 8th in line last year. Looking to for similar placement again.
