Yeah that is annoying, although usually it's because of manufacturer pricing/advertising rules and not directly the store's fault.

Note that Kohl's has changed things a bit. The $15 Kohl's Cash offer is now only on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, not the whole week like it's always been. There's a standard $10 Kohl's Cash offer for Sunday through Wednesday. But you can always shop the early access sale today and get the $15 Kohl's Cash without waiting. I don't see the ad anywhere, they didn't send any email that I received as a Rewards member.

- stores having more than one "Black Friday sale" (especially when they take place on a random Thursday in October) - stores no longer having paper ads (or in some cases no digital ads either)
