That 30" Insignia has been on sale in the past month or two for $499, and I think I even remember seeing it for less than that at one point, so the price is good, but it's not that much of a discount.

Here is the deal: GottaDeal.com and these forums are part of a year round deals & bargains site. It's open 365 days a year and we post hundreds of deals each week on the main site and the forum is busy as well. The Black Friday site (and BF forum) are just a sub-site of the main GottaDeal site. The BF site is open for around 2 months out of the year. After BF is over we keep the BF forum open for another month or so for general holiday shopping talk, and shortly after the first of the year we close the BF forum (but you can still read old posts) but the rest of the boards and the main GD site are open all year, so there is no reason for anyone to leave :)
