I've said it many times on here, but just a reminder that GottaDeal is open all year. Black Friday is just something we do to get people to find out about this great site that is always open. Where other BF sites shut down, we are just getting started. You'll notice a lot of GottaDeal regulars who weren't too excited about Black Friday, because we get great deals, if not better, all year round because of the hundreds of deals posted here each week. So bookmark the main site (http://www.gottadeal.com), bookmark the forums here (http://forums.gottadeal.com) and stick around. And another perk of sticking around - because there is less traffic, you have a better chance of getting the best deals before they sell out
-
Dell has confirmed that these are now sold out. Sorry guys. But I'm guessing they'll have another big sale like this on Monday for Cyber Monday, so check back then.
-
That domain is the affiliate company's domain, so there isn't much I can do to have it changed. It really shouldn't be blocked by Spybot as it's not really an ad domain, and the affiliate people have tried to get them to remove it and they haven't, so there isn't much I can do.

Just got this: This is referring to the original link (LINK) I'll keep you all updated... It may have sold out, or they may have deactivated the coupon code until they fix the error page on the original link. Stay tuned...

could possbily be sold out already

Garmin c330 back in stock on walmart.com: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?dest=9999999997&product_id=3556744&sourceid=36370385680829197926

Yes it can. It comes with 2 512MB sticks of RAM (to get the 1GB total), so you could easily upgrade those to 2 1GB sticks to double it, and it would cost you less than half of what Dell is charging (and it's not hard at all to do it yoruself).

If you are going to just be using this for basic tasks - surfing the web, e-mail, office-type stuff, then you can keep the Sempron. If you are going to be doing anything more advanced with it, then you might want to pay the extra $50, but for most things you won't notice much of a difference.

Now that the stores are open, I'm closing this thread. Please post your experiences with lines (as well as what you got!) in this thread: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=90818

Many Kmart BF specials are online now, including doorbusters.
-
OK, apparently this is not the exact same configuration as earlier this week. So, follow these directions: 1. Go here: http://www.gottadeal.com/Deal/21687 2. Choose any upgrades you want (or leave as is for $399 price) 3. Add to cart 4. In shopping cart, enter coupon code RH23N?MWL3KF1C Price will be $399 plus any upgrades you choose This one comes with the Sempron processor which apparently is what it is supposed to, so that's not an error like I first thought. If you want a little faster processor, add the Athlon X2 for $50 more - it's your call :) Sorry for the confusion, but the deal is still there so if you want a $399 laptop, you still can get one
-
Yes I have e-mailed them to see what's going on. This is very rare for Dell. These kinds of deals usually are automatically set up to release. The thing is the coupon works, just the link to the special configuration isn't set up yet.
-
many of the doorbusters now online, plus $10 off $50 http://www.sears.com
-
That was the link for the sale earlier this week. Going through that link won't let you use the discount coupon.

You can also try this: 1. go here 2. in the search box at the top, search for bqdaiad 3. click on the Vostro 1000 link 4. click buy now 5. click add to cart 6. when in cart, enter coupon code RH23N?MWL3KF1C 7. price should be $399 the only issue is doing it that way gives you the slightly lesser AMD Sempron processor instead of the Athlon. once they update the special e-value code in the original link, it should have the Athlon, but if you just want a $399 laptop, the steps above should work.
-
Yep. They usually create a special e-value code for these limited time deals, and the link in the original post goes to that e-value code. the only thing we are waiting for is for them to actually load the laptop into the system so it'll show up.
-
No, the coupon code is supposed to only be good for this single configuration today only (once it appears on the site).

This was in an e-mail sent to all Dell affiliates. It stated 6am Central. This is their main promotion for BF, so I'm confident they just haven't "flipped the switch" and turned on the deal yet. I'm sure they have a large quantity of these available today, so just be patient and keep trying. If I hear anything else I'll let you all know.
-
I don't think the deal has officially started yet. Be patient with this one. As with most of these online BF sales, the time somethiing is supposed to start and the time it actually does don't always match....
-
Here it is:
-
It was supposed to start at 6am ET.
-
$1.00 authorizations are common for online orders - don't worry about that at all.
-
I wouldn't worry too much about order status at this point with their system the way it is. And don't call customer service or you'll get all of our early orders cancelled because they were not supposed to start yet, lol
-
Nope, Walmart.com never has any kind of coupons like that. Nice try though
