There is no "list" to get a backpack or shirt right now. There was a thread in Discuss GottaDeal for months where the backpacks were being offered for $5/each and nobody wanted any - guess you all are used to the freebies Once the shirts are here in about 2 weeks I'll start giving them an the backpacks away in many different ways. As this is a deal site, those who have been posting deals will definitely be taken care of

I won't be ordering any of those this year. I already will be busy enough giving away (and packaging/shipping) the BF t-shirts that are given away. Bags would just be too much hassle during an already busy time for myself and the site. However I do have quite a few of the GD nylon drawstring backpacks left over though (and will be giving many of those away as well along with the BF shirts), so that's an option. They may not be as big as the larger shopping bags, but they can hold smaller things.

I'd have to agree. Unless it is something where you know it was from the store (such as in Best Buy's case, an item from one of their house brands like Dynex, Insignia, etc...), the stores should not have to accept it back. They are not in the business of buying back your items, and if there is no way to prove it was purchased from them, they should not have to offer a refund.

FYI, we are going to start having new PP threads every quarter instead of every month. So JAN-MAR, APR-JUN, JUL-SEP, OCT-DEC. So we'll use this one for both August and September and then start a new thread October 1st for the 4th quarter. Shirts have been ordered. Should have them in about 2 weeks. These will be limited, and you won't be able to buy them. We'll have some fun giving these away over the next few months Also, because of the added costs, there will be very few larger sizes. We'll have some XXL, but few if any 3XLs. Still better than most free t-shirts which are normally all XL. If you want a shirt in a larger size, wait until we order the regular GD (non-BF) shirts.

There is no "official" meaning of those icons. People can use them as they'd like. Some as you've said have implied meanings, but there is no "right" way to use them.

Aside from Ace, the first ad the last 3 years has been in the October 16-20 date range, so I'm thinking it will be like that again. Keep in mind that BF is on the 28th this year which is the latest possible date, so the ads might come out a little later than in past years where it was 4-5 days sooner in the month.

Also Walmart.com has the pink version with a free 1GB SD card for $42.00: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8668691 but you'll have to pay shipping. Still a deal if you'd rather have pink.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, if this whole shirt thing happens we probably won't do an option of pink shirts. The choice is basically to have either a choice of sizes or a choice of colors. We can't have both or I'd have 12-18 different size/color combinations and that's just too much for a shirt that will be given away for the most part. Plus with the limited number of shirts being ordered it would be very likely that anyone's exact size/color combination would be gone very quickly. So it's looking like one color (likely black to go along with the Black Friday theme) but there will be a choice of sizes, which I'm sure you all would appreciate more than having a choice of colors but them all being the same size. Thread closed.

apparently ace's lawyers are on the prowl, so if you want the ad, you might want to save it to your computer, just in case...

There are 2 ways to add a picture to your post. The first is to use the attachment tool.
