    “We also closed our stores on Thanksgiving Day in order to minimize crowds and help our guests take the stress out of getting the best deals of the season. The response was so positive that we’ll carry it forward this year, keeping our Target stores closed all day long on Thanksgiving Day.”

    Amazon Toy Clearance Deal Posting Thread

    As we approach the end of the holiday season, it's time for GottaDEAL members to start shopping for great toy clearance deals on Amazon!

     

    1) Please only post toy deals that qualify for free Super Saver Shipping or Amazon Prime shipping.

     

    2) Deals that are part of their Lightning Deals are not clearance deals. Those belong in their own thread.

     

    3) You are able to post more than 1 toy in each post, you can separate the deals if you'd like in your post

     

    4) When posting a toy deal find, please remember to post the following: The toy name, the price (including the original price along with the sale price is preferred) and most importantly, a link to the toy on Amazon.

    So now that we're past BF 2020 and have a little more of an idea how things will go with vaccines, etc., what are your predictions for Black Friday 2021?

     

    Will we go right back to 2019-style shorter 1-3 day sales or will the week-long sales continue?

     

    Will any major store use the Target/Walmart plan of having multiple "BF" sales during November?

     

    Will the controversial Thanksgiving Day openings be back for the major stores?

     

    Will all those new online BF shoppers this year continue to do that in future years?

     

    How do you think the deals will compare with this year?

    Black Friday forum housekeeping updates

    * This morning all the threads from the "Sale & Ad Discussion" sub-forum were moved to this main BF forum for any further discussion and that forum was removed to clean things up.

    * This remaining Black Friday forum along with the Holiday Discussion board will remain open until the end of the year at which point they'll all be combined into one forum and archived with the other years. We'll once again keep a single Black Friday forum open all year for any discussion that pops up.

    * The 2021 Black Friday Prize Club thread will be in the year-round Black Friday forum. Reminder that today is the LAST DAY to sign up if you want to be a part of it this year.

    This is all pretty much the same as we've done in the past, so nothing new this year.

    Thanks to everyone for another great (if different) Black Friday season :)
