FWIW, I've been contacted by quite a few major retailers about various BF-related things and none have mentioned anything like this. They are all focused on the real BF. Of course things can change, but I've heard nothing supporting this over the last few months.

A few days left... The last few months they've been in the middle of the month, starting on a Thursday, so the next will start 9/10 or 9/17 most likely.

The shopping list won't open until there are ads to use it with. There is no point in opening it sooner.

Just an FYI, we'll probably be sending out the big "we're open" e-mail to the full mailing list early next week, so enjoy the forum now while you can before everyone starts finding their way back after Labor Day and it gets much busier Also putting the finishing touches on the "BF survival kits" we're going to give away this year.

So as you can all clearly see, aside from a super-early Ace Hardware ad, you shouldn't really expect to see ads until mid-October. Of course that can always change this year, but going by the past 4 years, the trend is definitely there.
