1angelnhvn
My DH gets regular emails from them and we are looking at a cruise that they are advertising a little lower than what we already are looking at through Carnival (same dates/cruise iten.). Anyone use them? Have good luck? We are leary of going with someone other than the actual cruise line (though I know they aren't always the cheapest, I always feel they are the safest)....any opinions?? Experiences? And sorry if I put this in the wrong place, I debated on where I should put it so here goes.......please move if not! :)
yakinhix
I've never booked with vacationstogo.com but use them as a reference when price searching. I typically book my cruises through the cruise line or with www.cruise.com for 1 huge reason. If you book a cruise early like I normally do, and the price of the cruise goes down, all you have to do is call them and they will adjust the price and you get the new rate. If you have already paid in full, you will get a credit back on your credit card. If you havent paid in full yet, you will have less to pay. I know for a fact that Cruise.com and Royal Carribbean do this, but dont know for sure about the other cruise lines. My next cruise (may 2010 is booked through cruise.com and i check prices on it about once a week. My last one was through royal carribean and the price dropped drastically (almost in half). I had already paid in full, so when I called them, they credited my card $598! I was overjoyed!! Good Luck! I love Cruising, the May 2010 will be our 5th in 4 years. All our cruises had always been booked direct with the cruise line, then I found a GREAT deal thru them and we tried them. There was NO difference in our cruise vacation! It was just like I had booked with the cruise line!

AndreaInNC
I know that Carnival says they will match the price if you find something lower on the internet within a few days after you book with them. Check out their website for more info. If you buy their "early saver" program, that has no time limit on lower cruise fares. Mine changed prices 3 times and they lowered it every time. After final payment, you get a shipboard credit for the difference.
