Hi Daniel,

The Dell e-value code is two parts copy/paste the first section then do the second.

E-Value Codes: To enter Dell E-Value codes, go to the Dell.com home page, scroll down the page and on the right side you will see a box titled "Advertised System" that looks similar to this:

If you still need help, please provide specifics, such as:

Which e-value code are you trying to use?

What model Dimension or Inspiron are you trying to purchase?

Which coupon code(s) if any are you trying to redeem?

:2welcome: to the GottaDeal forums :)

Thank you for your quick response ross, but I'm still a bit confused. I am trying to use the code for the $600 off any inspiron laptop over $1499. The code appears to be DKS2KKN65GQN40, and I don't know how to input this into the dual box system. Thanks again for your help.

Daniel,

I have merged your duplicate new thread into this original thread. For future reference just click "REPLY" at the top left or bottom left instead of creating a new thread.

If you read this thread you'll notice that is a COUPON CODE not an e-value code. These are two different things. So ignore the e-value field.

Here is a step by step guide on how to purchase your new Dell Inspiron laptop:

  • Visit Dell.com by clicking this link
  • In the top right click Notebooks
  • Select the notebook model you want to purchase
  • Configure (or "Customize It') and make sure your prediscount (crossed out) price is $1,499 or higher.
  • Scroll to the bottom, click Update Price & Ship Date then click Continue
  • Click Continue a few more times until you see the shopping cart.
  • Copy/paste DKS2KKN65GQN40 into the "Enter coupon number" box and click Apply Coupon. You should now see a $600 discount.

Which Dell Inspiron model are you looking at?

I would recommend buying at least SXGA resolution display and 2 year warranty.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and hopefully you'll become a regular member here :victory:

Ross

What major flat-panel are you looking for? The ultra-sharps?

I'm not looking to buy one currently as I already own a 1900FP and 2005FPW. It would just be nice to have the popular 17", 19" and 20" LCD's on display. Also I wish they had Dell Latitude laptops but that's their business line not home office.

You are so lucky. We just have a little kiosk in the mall :(

Right now they're all kiosks. But it's still a lot better for most people to order from a person rather than a voice on a phone or a still webpage.

The DDS stores should have the 15" and the 17" LCDs on display.
