nat1jen Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Wish that the shipping was much lower. $9.95 shipping on a $23 order is high.
Priysha Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I have $48 merchandise credit and the site will not let me use it. Are any of the actual stores open ?

Priysha Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Is this allowed - not honoring their gift cards or merchandise credit without any prior notification ?

tlsikes1374 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I don't believe once any of the stores say they are going out of business you can use their gift cards. The merchandise is no longer owned by them. Another company usually does the going out of business or liquidation sale, not LNT in this case. We ran into the same problem when Circuit City closed the stores in Phoenix. Luckily, we were able to use the gift cards online since the company itself was not going out of business.
katiesmommy01 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Usually the giftcards are only still good for a limited time after the announcment of going out of business. I know KB toys had signs up saying they wouldn't accept them after Dec 31st. I would call the corporate #and ask their policy on this, but you may be out of luck.
Priysha Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 The number at the back of the merchandise credit is not reachable. Neither is the customer service number on their website. Both of them just keep beeping, there is no response.
blabla123 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 LNT B&M stores are being liquidated by Gordon Brothers. The stores were informed that they would continue to accept gift cards and merch credits throughout the liquidation process. The website is not being run by GB and subject to different policies. The final wave of stores should be closing within the next couple of weeks so call your closest one to verify they will take it.
nineofus Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Darn it, most of the items I'm interested in don't have images available. Anyone know where else I might go to see pics of the items?
Heather_0617 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 It now says on the site that gift cards are no longer accepted.
Priysha Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 There is no store close enough to me. I am in Pittsburgh PA - does anyone have use for this lnt giftcard of $48 ? I will consider reasonable trades of like items. Thanks!
