LNT B&M stores are being liquidated by Gordon Brothers. The stores were informed that they would continue to accept gift cards and merch credits throughout the liquidation process. The website is not being run by GB and subject to different policies. The final wave of stores should be closing within the next couple of weeks so call your closest one to verify they will take it.
