Amazon and returns: They are cancelling accounts for excessive returns!

I bought a tandem bike trailer in the spring from Amazon. My son and I were riding along when the front wheel broke off. Amazon took the bike back no problem. I actually had a new bike before I even sent the old one back. It was basically no hassle or questions asked.

I can understand why they would institute this new policy, but they also shouldn't tell people to refuse shipment.

retail stores will deny you return rights if you are excessive, as well... I see no reason Amazon should not have that right.

I understand that and i agree. But they should also inform their customer service reps to refrain from telling the customers to refuse shipment. I don't think I've ever refused a shipment or returned anything to amazon.
