JaceyK
Not sure if this is the answer but I think mostly they are all the same. One may move when music is played...another may display lights on it's nose. Basically, you hook up an mp3 player to the iDog, and the iDog does a myriad of lights on it's nose...or it moves and lights up. It also acts as a speaker for the mp3 player. There are some that are all plastic (hard shell) and there are the new ones that are soft and cuddly (these don't move, I don't think). Hope that helps. amyaj
My son has one. I think it's annoying. We plug is MP3 player into it and the dogs lights up and moves. He barks and never shuts up. Even when the MP3 automatically shuts itself the dog keeps going. He has a white one that is plastic. I've seen the big plushy ones.

trbarginhunter
DD has one, bought at Target. It's a nice little speaker for the iPod...she likes and so do I. By the way, there are settings in the nose to make the barking stop (I think it's press and hold down the nose).
wldfire68
My kids have those stupid things! hehehehe One DD has the original one where it just moved its head and wagged its tail. My other DD has the second gen one where it taps it foot! oooh I know! impressive! The new one stands up and does a little jig of sorts. They both used them for about a week and now they sit on the shelf. They both have seen the new plushy one and thinks they are dumb. They like just hooking the mp3 players and laptops into the stereo better. :)

MeliesMom
I just bought the black idog dance from amazon for $13.99. I wanted one for myself and I think it will keep my dd entertained. She's only 2 and I think she will get a kick out of it. I think it's neat. There are different ones. The idog pup doesn't have a speaker and just plays certain tunes and flashes light. The idog just shakes his head and tail and is a speaker. The idog ampd taps it's foot and moves it's head and is a speaker. The idog dance does more stuff, he sits on his hind legs and stuff and is also a speaker. They all have flashing lights and bark. They also have things like a fish, penguin and cat that are from these same people who make the idog. I really want the fish, he is neat but I didn't want to spend a lot on one of these things.
