I am looking at mainly family plans, and would like to compare. Right now, I feel like I am paying an arm/leg just for 2 lines: *data service for one line *1500 shared minutes *unlimited text *unlimited mobile-to-mobile (same carrier) *unlimited nights/weekends (after 9 p.m. on weekdays) *family plan which includes me being able to restrict 2nd lines time to receive/send calls/text and downloads as well as internet *insurance for both phones ($10/mo) For the above, I pay...$145/month...this already includes a 11% discount. Now I need to hear from others...and I would like to know if we have ability to negotiate and perhaps hear stories of what you did to haggle your price down. Looking to get both lines on data plan but no way, no how am I adding to the expense I already have!

You know...instead of spending money in the legal department/security department guarding and protecting an ad that comes out ONCE a year, they really need to be focusing more on organized plans on BF to prevent the incidents that occurred last year. We all know that the death of that poor person could have been ultimately avoided if the store's method of opening the store was evaluated and improved. Poor planning on their part...and it truly tarnished their reputation.

My daughter is getting a new bike for her 10th birthday. She wants a "mountain bike"...more specifically, one that has brakes on the handle bars. She is fitting good on a 24" but I worry that she will outgrow it fast. Should I look into seeing how she would fare on a 26"? I don't know what to do. The differences between bikes are few and then big...like some 26" look bigger than others? Why? Help! I want to make a good and sound investment! She wears her bikes down hard!! You should see her little girly bike! LOL!

Amazon is reshipping my package 1 day FedEx...will be here on Tuesday...I hope.

So if I ordered something on 12/9...website says it left OHIO facility on 12/10...and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET...what do I do??? It did say estimated delivery 12/20...that was yesterday. Should I call or wait? And yes, it's a Christmas present.

Don't hold your breath on getting it on time with free shipping. I am still waiting on a package that I ordered on 12/9...it's still en route with tracking saying it left seller's facility on 12/10. I guess ground USPS has slowed down a lot. Anyway, it's been 6 business days since it left warehouse...expected date of delivery is 12/20.

I wasn't referring to online prices. I bought stuff in B&M TRU last Wednesday, and yesterday's ad in Sunday paper showed that I can save up to $50 on what I bought last Wednesday...

I bought stuff last Wednesday...well, this past Sunday's ad has prices reduced for almost $50-60 in savings. Will TRU price adjust? And do I have to bring it all back with receipt? Or will I have to "return" it and buy it back at the new price?

Not sure if this is the answer but I think mostly they are all the same. One may move when music is played...another may display lights on it's nose. Basically, you hook up an mp3 player to the iDog, and the iDog does a myriad of lights on it's nose...or it moves and lights up. It also acts as a speaker for the mp3 player. There are some that are all plastic (hard shell) and there are the new ones that are soft and cuddly (these don't move, I don't think). Hope that helps.

We went to a 24 hour Walmart on BF...yup, they were open 24 hours. They had pallates (sp?) in aisles with t.v.s, dvd players, printers, and other BF items. They handed maps to shoppers as they entered. People who got there early were crowding around the items they were there for. At 5 a.m., employees pulled off the wrappings that surrounded the pallates, and shoppers got their stuff. So sad about the worker that got killed...I do agree that it could have been avoided...

I think they called the 1-800 best buy number and talked to CSR. Then they were asked what store to pick up from (if available).

I was wondering same thing but I did see a price drop already. Originally, the 4 gb was going for $129.99 is now 99.99 in stores/online; 8 gb was 149.99 is now 139.99. So with that said, I don't think we'll be seeing any more specials on these...unless I am mistaken.

It was in the Walmart book of toys (for Christmas). It should be at Walmart.

For a 10 year old...she has the iPod Nano on her wish list (and the girl still believes in Santa Claus! :) )...which one is better and why? Anyone know? And will there be any deals do you think between now and Christmas? I know that TRU has the buy one $99 and up, you get a iTunes gc. But will there be anything else? And is this a popular BF item? I had plans to get dd her ds for Christmas the Friday of the 25% off deal @ TRU. I couldn't do it before due to financial reasons. Well...Hurricane IKE rudely interrupted those plans and there was no way I could do it on Saturday...we had no power, cell phone connections were scant, and FEMA took over the lines for emergency reasons (that is what I was told). All stores were closed on Saturday. So now I have to wait (and pray) that another deal for the DS will come through soon. I am thinking it wasn't meant to be...eh? LOL...

TRU has a deal through Friday, Sept 13...buy one DS, one game and one accessory kit...get 25% off!! Not sure if this is good online though...

I am furious. First off, Sprint's service (i.e. area signals, dropped calls, slow voice mails, etc) SUCK. Now to my rant...someone broke into my vehicle and stole my purse along with my cell phone (my truck was in the garage of my home...I forgot to close garage door when I got home from a last minute errand). So I call Sprint to suspend service so that the perpetrators would not use my phone, they take care of it and say that I can apply $75 towards a new phone. So I go into Radio Shack who is a Sprint dealer...they said that I would have extend my contract to an extra year (have one year left now) to get any special prices. And I'm basically screwed since I didn't insure a refurbished phone (and how would they do that since the stupid serial number on the original box was BLACKED OUT)! I kept saying but I don't want to extend ANOTHER year for ****ty service. So I guess instead of paying for a brand new phone, I will just be paying to break this contract. This is what I get for leaving the stupid garage door open.

Do they really work? Just curious...my boys get swarmed by mosquitos (and one is highly sensitive to them...swells up badly).

In Houston we get the early Sunday edition on Saturdays :)
