Kgertygirlie
Please tell me does one such product exist? Prefer cordless, as I live in an RV (a 5th wheel to be exact) My large German Sheperd lives with me. (her name is Shadow, in case you were wondering) I have bought at least 6 vacums in the 6 months I've lived here. Nothing works. I'm almost to the point of shaving the dog, but she would get cold here in cold sunny Florida. Please Help, I'm begging. Kathy

theboyzmom
I don't know about cordless...all the cordless models I tried in the past do not have enough power to really work on hair...
tnewendorp
I have a Dyson...and a dog. I have had very good luck with it. I believe they recently came out with a smaller, hand held model.

ajogg
We have 5 dogs, used to be 6 (but our Shadow passed). Our Oreck works pretty well for dog hair, but don't know if you can find a cordless one.

Jannabear
My sister has the Dyson for animals and likes it so much that I just bought her the hand-held one as well. Go w/the Dyson if you have animals...IMO anyway
emptynest-2
A friend of mine also has the Dyson "Animal", it's purple and works great w/ her animals (dogs, birds and cats).
dmmiller
I have the dyson animal vac as well. It works GREAT. I also just got the roomba that was on sale on BF, and so far it does a pretty job. It kinda blows the light hair around and it doesnt get under my furniture, cuz its too low. But with your dog's hair, i'm sure it'll be fine. Roomba is on sale this week at Target for $94. (cheaper than BF) if your interested? klastar
I have 3 cats and could never find one that really worked. We bought the Infinity - Pet Care System about 6 months ago and now I swear by it, it comes with furniture attachments.
brainfreeze
How does the Roomba 400 compare to the 410? That's the one I wanted to buy. Which did you get on BF? Is it compatible with all the 410 accesories- (docking station filters?) Is it perhaps the same thing? Speaking of Roombas and dog hair, I am about going nuts, and I was thinking the Roomba might be the only solution. I vacuum every single day (I do not have the time for this) and I refuse to wake up at 4am to vacuum. So I thought Roomba. My sister has one and says it works great on dog hair. Think about it. I could save probably 5 hours a week, and loads of frustration.
