you really don't need anything else at all, it's all marketing! If you plan to do it on a wood floor, just grab an old towel, cushioned mat or yoga mat to use for the laying down parts (just a few yoga and strength training exercises have you lie down) and you'll be all set. You don't even need shoes, as they recommend you do Wii Fit barefoot. If you are going to set up the balance board on a rug, as I do, you need nothing extra at all! The one running exercise is for two players so you'd need an extra controller but most people will probably have an extra anyway for all Wii games...

DUH!!!!!!!!!! Yea, I actually got that no problem last christmas. Had a friend that was a buyer for Circuit City who got it for me. This year he's at Office Max.

other than the actual game system and the wii fit, the thing you really need is something you can't even buy....motivation.

I am new to the Wii and Wii fit just biught it for Christmas this year...but I did buy the rechargable battery pack not sure if that was a waste of money or not...ha ha

I got one with mine and have never used it. I'm still on my original battieries and it's 2 months old.

same here. I just use regular alkaline batteries in both the remote and the balance board and they last a long time!
