A friend wants gift cards for her wedding shower. I know Eastbay has 20% off theirs, but that's not a good wedding gift. Anyone know of a good way to get a discounted gift card?

Try cardavenue.com - people put up unwanted cards for either trade or an auction-style sale that can sometimes save you a few dollars.

I have gotten screwed on cardavenue person sold giftcards that were stolen and there was nobody to talk to. My personal favorite is abcgiftcards(dot)com they own all the cards on the site and they are backed by the bbb.

I have gotten several discounted gift cards off of ebay. You could also try craigslist--sometimes people put them off at a lower price or to trade for a different one.
