in the columbus dispatch today, it stated that the company has abandoned a plan to keep stores open during bankruptcy protection and will liquidate them over the next few months, according to a bankruptcy court filing...in the latest filing, the retailer and its owner, afflilates of Bay Harbour Management, said Wednesday they have joined with liquidator Great American Group to liquidate all inventory in remaining stores this year or early next year....

Mine is already closed. A couple weeks ago everything was 2.98 or less. I got a bunch of stuff.

We were in the Houghton one and everything was 4 for 5 bucks. They closed yesterday. I really liked there Sarah Jessica Parker line of clothes for my daughter. Hopefully another retailer will pick up this line.

I need to get my son basketball shoes. I better call around tomorrow and find out which ones are open and which ones are not! This makes me so sad! I loved those stores! The one I used to go to closed awhile ago!

I need more shoes!!! I'm going to have to call some friends of mine to buy some for me. What are the current prices for the shoes for those that live near a S&B. I live 3 hours or so from the closest one.

Oh good, according to that link our store is still open and doesn't even say closing soon. I should head over there tomorrow and check it out.
