best place to get diapers

okay so it's been awhile since we've bought diapers- so I have totally forgotten what is a good price on them ???

I am due at the end of the month w/ # 2 and could really go any time- so I need to get a few packs LOL

 

I want to get swaddlers in Newborn, like a regular size pack, and maybe a big box in size 1 (not that size 1/2 they sometimes have)

 

I also liked the regular huggies with my other dd - other than that I never had much luck with other brands..

 

I was looking at diapers.com and with the $10 code I can basically get 256 (40 sz N, 216 sz1) swaddlers for $39.98- that works out to be .16 each- is that a good price? looks like if I had more time I could mail them some coupons to save a bit more... does anyone do this??

Have you checked Amazon? If you sign up for their auto-ship, the diapers are cheaper per pack. I don't know how their prices compare to diapers.com though. Also, I'd just check out some sale flyers in your area. If you have coupons and a store that'll double them and it's a week the diapers are on sale that would be a pretty good deal too. I haven't gotten diapers in a while but it sounds like a good price. Check at the store next time you go to get an idea of the prices. If you mail in coupons how much longer would it take? The hospital usually sends you home with some & you could pick up a small pack to use in the meantime if they didn't come in time.

I think that is a good price also. and like a PP said, check amazon.com. also keep your eye out at Target, sometimes they run gift card promos when you buy diapers. this week was get $5 gift card when you buy 2 packs of huggies.

 

but like you, i prefer the swaddlers in the beginning and they seem to hold alot, but can be a bit pricey. so what i do is use them at night and use Luvs during the day.

I just bought a big box of size 1 at target for around 20.00 not bad when a big pack at wal-mart is around 18.00 and you get less diapers in the pkg!

I buy diapers at BJ's. They have their own store coupons and then you can use manufacturer coupons also.

I used diapers.com - free shipping, good prices, and you get them in bulk so you don't have to worry about ordering often. They also take coupons - you just have to mail them in.

Me too! We use the bumgenius diapers which are also one size fits 10lbs-40 lbs. We invested $400 and we can use them for our next child too! We do a load of diapers every 2-3 days (we have 24 diapers)

I have a few Bumgenius, they are my night-time diapers. I'm getting more as soon as my local baby store gets the new colors in stock(no shipping that way!)

 

Mostly though, I'm a prefold and covers kinda girl. I'm even working on making my own wool covers.

Also, If you think about it too, TRU just started the Rewards R US. After buying 9 boxes of Pampers brand, you'll get the 10th free. You can get $5 off coupons every once and while so that might even be a way to go. I know they are little more but then you'll end getting the pack.

I used to buy the huggies for my DD but I have switched to the Target brand, they work just as well and are cheaper, a box of 92 size 4 diapers is 13.00 about .14 cents each.
