I have a Canon Point and Shoot now but I want something FASTER it has a delay of several seconds....my DD is done doing what I am wanting to catch before it ever takes the picture :-) Any ideas what kind of camera I need and where a good deal is? I also want something that isnt hard to use.
freesia39
What is your price range? What Canon do you have right now?
epgpjp
To get more speed out of your digital camera, use a view finder, not the big window. You will be amazed at how much better your pictures can turn out.
CindyIUP
I finally bought a digital-SLR - best camera ever!! Olympus E-410 and it came with an extra zoom lens.
CrayZMama80
I also purchased a digital SLR camera. Nikon D40. I also picked up an extra lense on ebay for around 300 off the regular store price. ( that was pure luck ) The extra lense is one that's made for sporting events. No matter what, nothing blurs. I even caught a hummingbird flying by my flowers and the wings on it look like it was standing still. But, this will be a purchase only if you are willing to spend. For me it's good. I do a lot of photography. I also agree with epgpjp- when you use the view finder your pictures won't be as blurry. Using the screen when you are shooting tends to make the camera a bit shaky. And even the best shots- fast or slow camera can become a huge blur. Now if you are only needing the camera for family things and events, I would go with something simple. Like a smaller digital camera. Right now at BB's website they have a nice camera. Canon power shot and it's on sale for 134.99 It's a little bigger but not a bad camera. Actually BB has all sorts of digi camera's on sale. I'd go look around and see. Maybe you can find something in your price range. Hope this helps! laddhorn
I had a camera that would take the pics very slow. If I didn't hold still for a few seconds after I took the picture, it would come out blurry. I changed the memory card with a much faster one and it helped alot! I did recently go SLR. Best Investment Ever!
