It takes the % off the original price. So, if your jacket is already 50% of more off, it won't take any $ off. I bought 2 jackets. 1 said that the current price was a better deal when I checked out. It was earlier but it's not anymore. I should have been more specific in my previous post. I clicked on the chat now to talk with a rep and this is what she said: "but unfortunately we can not discount north face gear any more then they are already marked down" So, get it while you can. The problem the tab for the regular Back Country site was selected, not the Outlet. I'm not sure how it happened, but it did. Make sure you have at least $50 of merchandise for the free shipping. When I called in, the gentleman said that 2 of my 3 items were shipping, just not the third one. He then helped me find the jacket for my son in a different color and is sending that one.
