I barely have the time ro energy to put up one tree much less 9.. I applaud you for taking the time to make your house look so festive. We still don't even have our tree up yet.. My poor kids ask me everyday when we are getting the tree.

The way we play it is like this: Instead of buying a gift we take things from our homes that we don't want, don't need, don't use, etc. We wrap it up all beautiful and then we draw numbers. The great part is that the last person to draw can take anybody's gift. I have gotten some crazy things though and end up pitching it out and some things I still use this very day. I wear a size 6 shoe and one year ended up with a pair of size 10.5 women's pink furry slippers...HAHAHA It is really funny watching DH's grandmother and great aunt play..these women are avid church go'ers and everythime they play you would not believe the things that "SLIP" out of their mouth:eek: ..Especially when you take their gift from them..HAHAHAHA

I just finished wrapping all the kids presents tonight. One of my DD's is crazy about the Disney Princesses and the other just loves anything else Disney. SO I went to the Dollar Tree and I bought EVERY design of Disney wrap they had and all of DD6's gifts are in princess warps and the others are all in Pooh. goofy, Pluto , Mickey and Minnie wrap. I also have their gifts from my parents here so my mom gave me this really pretty gold wrap with stars on it to wrap their stuff in so we know that is what Nana and Papaw bought them. MY BACK IS KILLING ME RIGHT NOW~~~

We like King's Hawaiian Bread and Spinach Dip. ( you can't really taste the spinach) the recipe is on the back of the KNORR'S Onion Soup Mix. It is REALLY good. I also make little pigs in a blanket along with some of the other things already mentioned.

Last year for gifts I made, brownies, choc. chip cookies, nuts & bolts and buckeyes. I bought the nesting tin cans and stacked them on top of each other filled with the above mentioned and tied a nice bow around it all to secure it. They were a BIG HIT,and hardly cost anything to make. I am a cake decorator so I see cakes all the time so it is nice to get to make something different even if it is once a year!!!

Santa brings everything here...except for the gifts from the grandparents (they have 4 sets of them). They do know that the g-parents buy those and they are normally the most expensive things that they want so we can buy them more. They usually get about 7-8 presents each from us and 2-3 from the grandparents. Luckily they did not need clothes this year so they got everything they asked for between us and the g-parents!!

When I was preggo with DD#2(but didn't know it at the time)after have taken 4 other HPTests and all coming up negative I still was not feeling very well and me and DD#1 were in Big Lots and they had Clear Blue Easy 2 for 5.00 and I thought I will just pick these up and see how they read for 2.50 each..LOL Well I GOT A BIG FAT POSITIVE in less than 2 seconds on both of them...I say Big Lots is great!!!! When the razor scooters were the "hot toy" my mother and I were at Walmart and we watched a woman grab a scooter out of another woman's hands... well needless to say she was pissed and she took the box and knocked the other lady in the head with it, and the woman had to be taken to the hospital because she had a nasty gash in her forehead. I know I am going to be at Walmart at 2 am on Friday to get one of those laptops and if ANYONE tries to even attempt such acts with me they will wish they never crossed my path. You know all of this stuff could be avoided if the stores would get a good amount of the product and then no one would have to fight.
