Hi, I was wondering where you guys buy wide shoes for your kids? The cheaper the better because my sons feet seem to growing a size every couple of months:D

thanks

Payless carries wide shoes for kids, my DD5 has to have extra wide and her feet are different sizes so I understand how hard it can be to find shoes that fit. This time I had to take her to Stride-rite to get anything to fit properly (doesn't hurt her feet or flop) I did not want to pay that much but sometimes it is a necessity.

I've always had good luck with Stride Rite's wide shoes--only when they're on sale though (I think they're having a sale in-store now, if you have one close). Also, try Payless's Smart Fit shoes. I've had great luck with them. Cheap, too. :)

A brand that has a really, really good fit for wide feet (of all ages) is New Balance for sneaks.

I was looking for toddler shoes and saw several stride rites in wide for under $20 on amazon yesterday so I would look there. Seemed like they had lots on sale and some were eligible for additional discounts.

My sister and I grew up with very wide feet and always found good shoes available from Stride Rite. Good sizing and many styles for wide feet...and they always held up well.
